Kentucky's Looming Pension Crisis

Jim Waters joined us for a talk on the state of Kentucky's finances with regard to pensions. There is serious doubt as to whether or not the current system can handle all of the unfunded liabilities. It is hoped that the problem can be solved, perhaps by changing the amount of benefits future employees receive, or by otherwise growing ourselves out of the crisis. Increasing taxes is also on the table but not preferred as a solution.
