Susan Bro is the mother of Heather Heyer, a central figure in the counter-protest against the Unite the Right Rally in Charlottesville Virginia, August 12th, 2017. Heather was tragically killed when a car plowed into a crowd of counter-protestors. Death has only magnified Heather, and thanks to her sacrifice, millions have been inspired to stand up for justice and against hatred.
