When we make people dependent upon us for counsel, we are stripping them of a chance to grow in Christ. Yes, everyone needs wise counsel from time to time, especially when major life decisions are at hand. But people need to learn how to hear the voice of God for themselves, too. Ekklesia is the root of the word that is translated "church" today.   We will discuss what "Ekklesia" is and how God can use it to reveal and heal His people today.   Jesus said He would build His “church.” The Greek text has ekklesia, a compound of ek (out of) and klesis (a calling). He is calling sinners out of the world into fellowship with Him.
