Around the world people are conscious of the need for innovation when it comes to energy. Especially here in the USA, the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Sandy has not been forgotten. There is a tremendous opportunity for high school students as well as corporations around the world to get involved and be rewarded for their efforts.

Leaders in clean energy from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates are in New York this week to attend the United Nations Sustainable Energy for All (SE4All) Forum, which engages top-level leadership from more than 85 different countries in all sectors of society including governments, businesses and non-profit groups. The trip is part of an effort to engage innovative individuals, organizations and schools that are finding solutions to meet the challenges of climate change, energy security and the environment; and to encourage them to apply for the annual Zayed Future Energy Prize.

In this segment of the Clean Energy View, which is a special series produced by The Organic View Radio Network, host, June Stoyer talks to Dr. Nawal Al-Hosany, the Director of the Zayed Future Energy Prize and Director of Sustainability for Masdar about the Zayed Future Energy Prize.
