While a student, Stefan participated in activities with the Center for Animal Law Studies (CALS), and clerked for its director, Pamela Frasch. He also served on several board positions in Lewis & Clark’s SALDF chapter and was a member of both the Animal Law Review and the Cornelius Honor Society.
