If you believe success is simply making (or having) a lot of money, you may be setting yourself up for failure (Geoffrey James). Success is a very personal thing and it is unique for each person. Whether the person is planning a goal, reaching the goal or has achieved his/her goals, in the end it’s all about feeling good. It is this “feeling” of success that can only be quantified by the person who has achieved it, not by another person’s perception of what success means to them.
Many people chase money because of the culture we live in today. Money is perceived to have a direct link to happiness, meaning that if you are rich then you are successful. Real success comes from the quality of your relationships and the emotions that you experience each day.
