Actress and Comedian, Vanessa Bayer, Partners with M&M’S and Red Nose Day

Today on The Neil Haley Show, The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Actress and Comedian, Vanessa Bayer. She is Partnering with M&M’S and Red Nose Day to Help End Child Poverty.

This year, M&M’S is bringing its colorful fun to Chicago to encourage local teens to “step up to the mic” to participate in an evening of comedy in support of Red Nose Day. M&M’S is partnering with City Year Chicago and Chicago Academy High School, which are beneficiaries of the Red Nose Day Fund, to give students an opportunity to use humor to share their stories.

To bring a little star power and even more fun to the comedy show, M&M’S is teaming up with actress and comedian, Vanessa Bayer, who will work with high school students to help them use humor to share their personal stories on-stage at The Second City, an iconic Chicago comedy club.

The students will team up with comedians from The Second City Works to show them the ropes of comedy and help them use laughter as a tool to boost their confidence by teaching them how to develop a short comedy set about their lives. 

The teens will share their comedic stories at The Second City in Chicago on Tuesday, May 15, during a special VIP performance entitled, “Step Up to the Mic: An Evening of Comedy with M&M’S In Support of Red Nose Day.”
