The Total Tutor Neil Haley will interview Barry Lyons.

Barry Stephen Lyons (born June 3, 1960) is a former right-handed hitting catcher in Major League Baseball from 1986 to 1991 as well as 1995. He spent most of his playing career with the world famous New York Mets and mostly as the backup catcher to Gary Carter, Baseball Hall of Fame Inductee..

Always loyal to his hometown, In 2002, Lyons moved back to Biloxi , where he joined efforts to bring professional baseball back to Mississippi's coast, which had no team since 1928. In 2004, he was the general manager for the inaugural season of the amateur team the Biloxi Breeze. Lyons was married in the early 1990s and had a daughter in the late 1990s.  In 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated his family and home, as well as baseball.  .He and his family rode out the storm and lost their house and memorabilia – including his coveted 1986 World Series ring. Barry Lyons is trying to get a minor league baseball stadium included in the rebuilding of his hometown of Biloxi.
