Good morning, today on The Meter, we will discuss Impeachment that now looks imminent after Speaker Nancy Pelosi's press conference this week where she said the Ukrainian phone call was grounds for President Trump to be impeached. President Trump said for the House to "speed it up" so the matter can get to the Senate where he can defend himself and receive a fair hearing. The Democrats have claimed they may hold the vote before Christmas. President Trump was in London this week for the annual NATO Summit that was filled with drama. The 29 member alliance signed off on a number of initiatives, including to protect energy, telecommunication infrastructure, expanding defense planning into space, and responding to the growing global influence of China. However, Trump’s policies, politics, and personality still overshadowed the entire event as Canadian Prime Minister, Justine Tredeau was caught on a live microphone mocking the Trump. Trump responded by calling Tredeau two-faced. President Trump has demanded that all members pay 2% of their Gross Domestic Product. Is President Trump right or is he threatening the alliance? As impeachment is pending, the November jobs report shattered expectations creating 266,000 jobs, doubling forecasts. The unemployment rate dropped to 3.5 %, the lowest since the WWII and has been under 4% for 21 consecutive months. Since Trump became President, 7 million new jobs have been created. Will impeachment overshadow President Trump's record or are the Democrats damaging their own electoral prospects? In Pensacola a Saudi national killed 3 US Servicemen in a possible terrorist attack. Mohammed Alshamrani, was an aviation trainee and reportedly watched videos of mass shootings prior to the attack. Will the incident damage US-Saudi relations and change the vetting process for training on American bases? Please join the discussion at 10AM. The call in number is 347-308-8933. Your input is essential.
