The 9th circuit court of appeals rejected a request from the Justice Department to reinstate the ban. Violent protests and a riot at UC Berkeley broke out in response to the ban. Has the judiciary put American lives in danger? President Trump announced new sanctions on Iran after a missle test that the administration says violates the executive deal with Iran signed by the Obama administration. Is a new conflict brewing with Iran? President Trump announced his nominee to fill the vacancy on the United States Supreme Court, Neil Gorsuch. Judge Gorsuch is a Constitutional Conservative that believes in textism interpretation of the Constitution. Educated at Columbia, Harvard, and Oxford, republicans embraced the nominee while some democrats have pledged a filabuster.
