(hypokritai) which means “stage actors.” At one level it is easy to see how this word has come to mean some one who is phony. For what they claim to be, they really are not, they are just acting a role. But when no one is looking (i.e. the audience is gone) they revert to their true self, which is some one quite different. But Jesus in his teaching here develops the understanding far more richly that shows how sad and poignant hypocrisy is, what its origin is and how it can be overcome. Hypocrisy defined – In effect Jesus describes hypocrisy as the sad state of a person who reduces himself to being an actor on a stage, because he does not know God the Father. There are many people who live their life in a desperate search for human approval and applause. They discern their dignity and worth, not from God, (who is in effect a stranger to them), but from what other human beings think of them. They are willing to adapt themselves often in dramatic ways to win approval. They are willing to play many roles and wear many masks to give the audience what they want. They are like actors on a stage, who seek applause or perhaps laughter and approval. Notice the way Jesus describes the heart of hypocrisy: 00:31:00HD Smithnomasterbation, fornication, forgivenessThe Biblical understanding enunciated by Jesus is rooted in the original meaning of the Greek word ?ποκριτα? They all merged together, and they always seemed to present themselves at the worst possible times. The simplest things, like getting out of bed in the morning, felt so heavy. The best joys in life, like being with family and creating new connections, felt unsatisfying. Things were heavy, hard, and almost unbearable. I didn’t understand what was creating these feelings, or what I needed to do to change them. It sounds like such a cliché to say that one day something happened that changed my life forever, but it did: Everything transformed for me when I decided to focus on creating purpose in my life. Life is a whole different experience when you understand what guides you. Let me shift gears with a question: Why did you come to Tiny Buddha today? If I asked Sigmund Freud why we do the things we do, he’d say that our behavior is motivated by sex and aggression. I believe that on a completely primal level, he’s right. Just as important as defining what forgiveness is, though, is understanding what forgiveness is not. Experts who study or teach forgiveness make clear that when you forgive, you do not gloss over or deny the seriousness of an offense against you. Forgiveness does not mean forgetting, nor does it mean condoning or excusing offenses. Though forgiveness can help repair a damaged relationship, it doesn’t obligate you to reconcile with the person who harmed you, or release them from legal accountability. Instead, forgiveness brings the forgiver peace of mind and frees him or her from corrosive anger. While there is some debate over whether true forgiveness requires positive feelings toward the offender, experts agree that it at least involves letting go of deeply held negative feelings. In that way, it empowers you to recognize the pain you suffered without letting that pain define you, enabling you to heal and move on with your life. While early research focused on forgiveness of others by individuals, new areas of research are starting to examine the benefits  00:31:00HD SmithnoForgiveness,love,power,peace,acknowledgeForgivenessbbec7114-3750-4a0f-aa5d-2a3531fd1680111fullGirl Talk Elimhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2018/07/07/girl-talk-elimReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2018/07/07/girl-talk-elim/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2018/07/07/girl-talk-elimSat, 07 Jul 2018 22:00:00 GMTGirl Talk ElimIs there any real evidence that dads really have a uniquely important impact in the lives of their children? We can cite a host of reputable studies to prove it. Dr. David Popenoe, Professor of Sociology at Rutgers University and Co-Director of the National Marriage Project, has provided us with a good summary and overview of the subject. Here's what he has to say: Fathers are far more than just "second adults" in the home. Involved fathers – especially biological fathers – bring positive benefits to their children that no other person is as likely to bring. They provide protection and economic support and male role models. They have a parenting style that is significantly different from that of a mother and that difference is important in healthy child development. He spotted me as I was rounding the corner, and the scene that followed was one of inexpressible loveliness, right out of the movie I’d played to myself before actually having a child, with him popping out of his babysitter’s arms and barreling down the street to greet me. This happy moment, though, was about to be cut short, and in retrospect felt more like a tranquil lull in a slasher film. When I opened our apartment door, I discovered that my son had broken part of the wooden parking garage I’d spent about an hour assembling that morning. This wouldn’t have been a problem per se, except that as I attempted to fix it, he grew impatient and began throwing its various parts at the walls, with one plank very narrowly missing my eye. I recited the rules of the house (no throwing, no hitting). He picked up another large wooden plank. I ducked. He reached for the screwdriver. The scene ended with a time-out in his crib.     As I shuffled back to the living room, I thought of something a friend once said about the Children’s Museum of Manhattan—“a nice place, but what it really needs is a bar”—and rued how, at that moment, the same thing could be said of my apartment. Two hundred and 40 seconds earlier, I’d been in a state of pair-bonded bliss; now I was guided by nerves, trawling the cabinets for alcohol. My emotional life looks a lot like this these days. I suspect it does for many parents—a high-amplitude, high-frequency sine curve along which we get the privilege of doing hourly surfs. Yet it’s something most of us choose. Indeed, it’s something most of us would say we’d be miserable without. 00:30:00HD Smithnolove and relationships,Love, parenting, parenting tips, schoolParenting Your resposiblity or the Schoolsaba2e45f-8951-4044-a57c-474bf5fe93a418fullThe Think Tank Christian Radiohttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2018/06/28/the-think-tank-christian-radioReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2018/06/28/the-think-tank-christian-radio/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2018/06/28/the-think-tank-christian-radioThu, 28 Jun 2018 22:30:00 GMTThe Think Tank Christian RadioMarriage is the process by which two people make their relationship public, official, and permanent. Traits such as: honesty, patience, integrity, hard work, and perseverance. Traits that helped build a great nation. When the industrial revolution showed up, fathers left their farms and headed to the factories. Long workdays and swing shifts set the stage for the absentee father. Over time, fathers often became regarded as merely breadwinners who fulfilled their paternal duty by providing. Dads made the money and moms did everything else. That kind of thinking has had a negative effect on the home! Today in America, 43% of all children live without their father. Ninety percent of all homeless and runaway children, 71% of all pregnant teenagers, 71% of high school dropouts, 75% of adolescent patients in chemical abuse centers, come from fatherless homes. Fatherless children are twice as likely to drop out of high school, twice as likely to end up in jail, and four times more likely to need help for behavioral problems. Some people ask, “Are fathers necessary?” The answer is a resounding yes! I don’t list these statistics to frighten you. I want to show fathers just how important it is that you take an active role in your child’s life. This will help not only your child, but also improve your relationship with your spouse. In education alone, statistics show that children with fathers are 40% less likely to repeat a grade in school, 70% less likely to drop out of school, are more likely to enjoy school and engage in extracurricular activities, and are more likely to make A’s in school. 00:35:00HD Smithnodads, relationships,Love, love and relationships, peace of mindBefore the industrial revolution, dads worked side by side with their children and both taught, and lived out, the critical character traits needed for a succeacff1790-7af5-46d8-8967-3c700d2e9e3816fullGirl Talk Elimhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2018/06/16/girl-talk-elimLifestylehttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2018/06/16/girl-talk-elim/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2018/06/16/girl-talk-elimSat, 16 Jun 2018 22:00:00 GMTGirl Talk ElimPlaying the victim is a role a person plays. Having the mind of Christ requires faith, developing a mind-set on the things of God through a working knowledge of Scripture, and through an obedient and intimate connection with the Spirit of God.  Surrendering the heart to Jesus requires relinquishing control over every area of life. In Luke 14:26Jesus said, “If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters—yes, even his own life—he cannot be my disciple.” Jesus was not advocating a lifestyle of hatred, but simply teaching where one’s priorities must lie. He was putting into perspective the life a believer must live. The believer must live for Him in everything he does, in every relationship he has, with every word he speaks, and with every breath he takes. Surrender is possible because of Jesus’ great love for His people. Jesus said in John 15:9, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love.” Though plainly spoken, this is only the tip of the iceberg as it relates to Jesus’ love.  00:30:00HD SmithnoLove, love and relationships,Mindsets, mind controlHow to put on the mind of Christ Part Two598a0f06-0ff5-459b-ab37-a93ba0ad77b914fullGirl Talkhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2018/06/02/girl-talkReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2018/06/02/girl-talk/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2018/06/02/girl-talkSat, 02 Jun 2018 22:00:00 GMTGirl TalkNearly two and a half millennia ago, Aristotle triggered a revolution in happiness. At the time, Greek philosophers were trying hard to define precisely what this state of being was. Some contended that it sprang from hedonism, the pursuit of sensual pleasure. Others argued from the perspective of tragedy, believing happiness to be a goal, a final destination that made the drudge of life worthwhile. These ideas are still with us today, of course, in the decadence of Instagram and gourmet-burger culture or the Christian notion of heaven. But Aristotle proposed a third option. In his Nicomachean Ethics, he described the idea of eudaemonic happiness, which said, essentially, that happiness was not merely a feeling, or a golden promise, but a practice. “It’s living in a way that fulfills our purpose,” Helen Morales, a classicist at the University of California, Santa Barbara, told me. “It’s flourishing. Aristotle was saying, ‘Stop hoping for happiness tomorrow. Happiness is being engaged in the process.’ ” Now, thousands of years later, evidence that Aristotle may have been onto something has been detected in the most surprising of places: the  human genome. The finding is the latest in a series of related discoveries in the field of social genomics. In 2007, John Cacioppo, a professor of psychology and behavioral neuroscience at the University of Chicago, and Steve Cole, a professor of medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles, among others, identified a link between loneliness and how genes express themselves. In a small study, since repeated in larger trials, they compared blood samples from six people who felt socially isolated with samples from eight who didn’t. Among the lonely participants, the function of the genome had changed in such a way that the risk of inflammatory diseases increased and antiviral response diminished. A mystical experience that rocked his being as an adolescent has kept him attentive over the years to the depth-charge of spiritual renewal. He defines a mystic as "a person of prayer and meditation who has been blessed by God with a certain amount of psychic ability, the ability to 'see,' 'feel,' and sometimes 'hear,' beyond the spacetime world we ordinarily perceive with the physical senses." With this foundation, Marion sets out to map the nine stages of consciousness through which the Christian grows toward full spiritual maturity. No wonder Ken Wilber calls this "a pioneering book, a truly inspired revelation, and a gentle guide to the deepest terrain of our own souls." Marion believes that the central mystery in the evolution of human consciousness is the Dark Night of the Soul described by St. John of the Cross and others. Using examples from his own experience, the author lays out just what this means in reference to Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. Marion sees Christ consciousness as a nondual vision of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. Here there is no dividing line between "creature" and "creator." Christians, using this way of looking at the world, should be able to see themselves and others as divine. This radical revisioning of the Christian path leads Marion to discuss his own unusual interpretations of good and evil, reincarnation, the problem of God's favorites, and the eventual arrival of the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. Viewed in that light, it is clear that we are all sinners.  The Apostle Paul says in Romans 3:23: "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."  In light of this, it does no good to compare ourselves to others. Then a troop of monkeys began to offer him food. The correct term for 'feral children' - those brought up by a beast, rather than a human - is, apparently, 'isolates'. It's the first vaguely fascinating thing you learn when you start digging into the more obscure libraries, trying to work out how much literature there is on the subject, and how much is credible. The second thing you learn is that all the studies are terribly worthy and wary: there's so much potential doubt floating around that every chronicler seems to have sacrificed any threat of narrative drive or excitement for the kind of leaden, trustworthy prose more normally associated with reports on the tensile strength of concrete rather than reports on My God, babies brought up by animals! The third thing you learn has to do with geographical difference. Down the centuries, the East appears to have had all the exciting isolates. The Wolf-Child of Sekandra! The Bear-Girl of Fraumark! Closer to home, it becomes at the same time duller and more surreal. The Sheep-child of Ireland. The (I am not making this up) Duck-boy of Holland. Or, perhaps, the saddest of all, Confined Child of Pennsylvania (brought up, presumably, not by humans but by Americans). And the fourth, most vital, thing you learn is that this whole subject does deserve to be taken extremely seriously. As soon as I meet John Ssebunya, who fled into the Ugandan jungle as an infant after watching his father slaughter his mother and was then cared for, nourished and taught by a bunch of vervet monkeys, it's obvious that trauma has been inflicted, and that, no matter how easily the matter might lend itself to cheap jokes, John has an important story to tell - of the love the animals showed for him, and of his 10-year re-assimilation back into human society. A story, it turns out, which he will tell slowly, but tell well. We think we do, but we don't. Most of us assume that if we forgive our offenders, they are let off the hook — scot-free — and get to go about their merry ways while we unfairly suffer from their actions. We also may think that we have to be friendly with them again, or go back to the old relationship. While God commands us to forgive others, he never told us to keep trusting those who violated our trust or even to like being around those who hurt us. The first step to understanding forgiveness is learning what it is and isn't. The next step is giving yourself permission to forgive and forget, letting go of the bitterness while remembering very clearly your rights to healthy boundaries. 00:05:00HD Smithnolove, peace, forgive, godForgiveness Part 4Mother's Helping Mother'shttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/21/mothers-helping-mothersChristianityhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/21/mothers-helping-mothers/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/21/mothers-helping-mothersWed, 21 Jun 2017 22:30:00 GMTMother's Helping Mother'sApril is a critical month for many of the top college basketball players in the country. Underclassmen have until April 29 to declare for the NBA Draft. The decision is much more complex than just declaring. The NCAA allows basketball players to declare for the NBA Draft without losing their eligibility only if they don’t hire an agent. But the players can only do that once. If they declare again, agent or not, Rosa, 26, had sold her house in Villa Clara and all her belongings to begin the treacherous journey by flying to Guyana and then trekking across Central America to the U.S.-Mexico border, like thousands of others have done. “I’m devastated,” she said. “My purpose was to leave the country to live a little better. There are no opportunities here.” Now she has to start anew in Cuba. It was not only those on the island who saw their plans to emigrate evaporate. Throughout the continent, hundreds of Cubans who were heading to the U.S. are now stranded. “I never get into politics or anything, but Obama has been worse than Pontius Pilate,” said María Isabel, who lives in Argentina and was preparing her trip to the United States. “Days before leaving the presidency was not the time for him to have done such a thing. “I've left everything behind,” said the Central Cuba native. “I was just taking a small step here to go on my way.”. María Isabel had been waiting three months for travel papers to continue her journey through Mexico and ultimately reach the U.S. border. “How many people have not risked or lost their lives!” she lamented. “The degree of despair and frustration is so great that we can only cry.” Prior to Thursday’s end of wet foot, dry foot, more than 54,000 Cubans were allowed entry in t 00:19:00HD Smithnoleave, alone, scared, desperate, peaceHow do you leave with no Place to goRev Kev's Word of Encouragementhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/20/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragementChristianityhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/20/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragement/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/20/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragementTue, 20 Jun 2017 16:00:00 GMTRev Kev's Word of EncouragementAs women, we’re conditioned to be peacemakers. We pressure ourselves to forgive quickly in the interest of being nice. But true forgiveness is much more than a quick “I’m sorry.” True forgiveness is a journey of the soul. While there are no right or wrong ways to go about this task, there are some common ingredients to the forgiveness recipe: 1. Start where you are. Just as Tammy had to feel fully her shame and hopelessness before she could let them go, so likewise we must touch and love those shadow parts of ourselves that keep us stuck in our pain, for they contain the keys to our healing. Forgiveness comes in its own time and will most likely come sooner if you accept yourself where you are. 2. Don’t try to figure out forgiveness. Forgiveness is a spiritual process that doesn’t answer to logic. When we make a genuine decision to forgive, our inner and outer worlds shape-shift around our intention. We must set our thinking aside to allow the path to unfold. 3. Allow another to witness your pain. For however wise we are spiritually, we cannot heal our pain without support from others. Even though Tammy knew the origins of her struggles with food, she couldn’t liberate herself on her own. When you are ready, disclose your wounds to someone you can trust. Ideally, this person has overcome her own ordeals and can provide guidance, tools, and emotional support that will catapult your forgiveness forward. 4. Let it all out. Don’t try to be spiritually hygienic while unpacking your pain. The more rage, pettiness, and nastiness you can disgorge, the faster the healing.   00:30:00HD Smithnoforgive, love, peace, joy, essenceForgiveness Part 3Mother's Helping Mother'shttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/14/mothers-helping-mothersChristianityhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/14/mothers-helping-mothers/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/14/mothers-helping-mothersWed, 14 Jun 2017 22:30:00 GMTMother's Helping Mother'sHow do you leave an unhappy marriage or bad relationship when you have no money? Justice has the nature of an equation: Borrowing 10 dollars requires returning 10 dollars. When justice is violated, punishment or restitution of some kind is required. Herein is the timeless significance of bringing the scales of justice back into balance. Injustice demands a counterbalancing repayment. Clemency goes beyond justice, to some extent ignoring the need for precise balancing, and reduces the payment. For example, clemency may be used to reduce a 60-day sentence to 15 days. Mercy goes beyond both justice and clemency to wipe away the need for punishment. It does not turn a blind eye to the offense committed, but it does pardon the offender. Forgiveness goes beyond those three virtues, but without negating any of them. Justice, clemency, and mercy provide the very foundation that allows forgiveness to be a possibility. Forgiveness goes beyond mercy and treats the offense as if it never happened. It wipes the slate clean, as it were, and gives the transgressor a fresh start. On the part of the person forgiven, the virtues of humility, sincerity, and hope are presupposed. In this way, forgiveness represents a truly exalted virtue because of the foundational virtues it presupposes in both the forgiver and the one forgiven. 00:30:00HD Smithnoforgiveness, peace, love, enetertainmentForgiveness Part 1Mother's Helping Mother'shttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/07/mothers-helping-mothersReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/07/mothers-helping-mothers/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/07/mothers-helping-mothersWed, 07 Jun 2017 22:30:00 GMTMother's Helping Mother'sHow can I leave with no place to go, how can i be with no place to see too talk to feel to love what does it mean for me to be another person in the streets and another when i am home why do i do that the complexity of it all tells me one of two things i am either scared or i just do not care about me about mysel and about my life stay tuned for the upoming mother's helping mother's episode where we will be discussing jusy that.  airing ever Wednesday at 6:30 with your host Jessica Belgrave .   00:25:00HD SmithnoHow can I leave with no place to go !!!!Rev Kev's Word of Encouragementhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/06/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragementChristianityhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/06/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragement/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/06/06/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragementTue, 06 Jun 2017 16:00:00 GMTRev Kev's Word of EncouragementThe Nature of Forgiveness Psychologists generally define forgiveness as a conscious, deliberate decision to release feelings of resentment or vengeance toward a person or group who has harmed you, regardless of whether they actually deserve your forgiveness. Though forgiveness can help repair a damaged relationship, it doesn’t obligate you to reconcile with the person who harmed you, or release them from legal accountability.Instead, forgiveness brings the forgiver peace of mind and frees him or her from corrosive anger. While there is some debate over whether true forgiveness requires positive feelings toward the offender, experts agree that it at least involves letting go of deeply held negative feelings. In that way, it empowers you to recognize pain you suffered without letting that pain define you, enabling you to heal and move on with your life   00:31:00HD Smithnoforgveness, peace, pieces, love,Self helpForgiveness Peace or PiecesMother's Helping Mother'shttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/05/31/mothers-helping-mothersChristianityhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/05/31/mothers-helping-mothers/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/05/31/mothers-helping-mothersWed, 31 May 2017 22:30:00 GMTMother's Helping Mother's  The Peace that transends all understanding never under estimate your love for people becuse your love the extends the magnitude of longjevity will stimulate ones mind to very far. 00:23:00HD Smithnolove, peace, hapiness, enjoy, daySelective choosing of a mateREv Kev's Word of Encouragementhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/05/30/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragementReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/05/30/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragement/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/05/30/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragementTue, 30 May 2017 16:00:00 GMTREv Kev's Word of EncouragementBeware lest any man {i} spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, {5} after the tradition of men, {6} after the {k} rudiments of the world, {7} and not after Christ. The ability to joke and say things that make others laugh is actually a very good indication of intelligence, risk taking ability and creativity. In academic medicine specifically, we’re adapting to shifting payment models, diminished federal funding for research, and an increased need to deliver better, more compassionate care to our patients at a lower cost. We’re evolving our communications and developing new tools to better understand our patients’ personal needs. And that’s just the beginning. Lately, as I’ve observed the health care climate, I’ve given a lot of thought to what allows us to not only adapt to change but to positively create it. I’ve wondered what the barriers are to successfully navigating the necessities at hand and, frankly, the many unknowns. We are, after all, at an unprecedented time of evolution in health care in the United States. Rather than arriving at a truth that’s unique to medicine, however, I’ve landed on a more universal human principle: that positive change and adaptation can only happen in an environment of trust. This is true in any meaningful exchange between people. When we get married or commit to a relationship, for example, there are many risks and unknowns, many factors that could alter the future for better or worse. But we trust in our partners and in our instincts. We trust that—despite the challenges, ambiguities, and potential beauty and pain of change—we will carefully forge scenarios that will benefit not only us as individuals and as couples, but also the greater good. 00:30:00HD Smithnoopen, discussion, life, people, loveOpen Discussion about what is fair and what is rightRev Kev's Word of Encouragementhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/04/25/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragementChristianityhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/04/25/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragement/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/04/25/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragementTue, 25 Apr 2017 16:00:00 GMTRev Kev's Word of EncouragementThe Cause of Inner Emptiness Most people who feel empty have no idea what is supposed to be in that empty space. They try to fill it externally with food, drugs, alcohol, sex, ography, approval, connection with others, computer games, spending, gambling, a new car, a new boat, a new computer or iPad or other toys. They feel a momentary feeling of fullness and then the emptiness returns. They might believe they are empty because they don’t have a relationship, or their relationship isn’t loving or connected, or they don’t have enough sex or enough money or enough things. Perhaps they believe that having another child will do it for them, or getting a bigger house or having more friends or a new job. They often believe that if only someone really loved them, then they would feel full inside. I’ve worked with people who have everything they believed would fill them up and they still feel empty. They seek my help because they are suffering and they don’t know what to do about it. Inner emptiness does not come from a lack of something external — not even a lack of being loved by someone else. It comes from a lack of one thing only: a lack of awareness of the love that is the energy we live in. You can call this love God or spirit or light or whatever else you want. The fact is, we live in a universe of love, and unless you know how to open yourself to that love — to feel it within your heart and soul — you will feel empty 00:31:00HD Smithnolove, inside, spirit, peace, greatnessHow much love is really inside you Part 3Faith under Constructionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/04/22/faith-under-constructionChristianityhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/04/22/faith-under-construction/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/04/22/faith-under-constructionSat, 22 Apr 2017 15:00:00 GMTFaith under ConstructionThis week was an interesting one for me.  I had the opportunity to talk to a man (Chuck) that has been going through a really hard time in his life.  For whatever reason our paths crossed and we just started talking and he shared that he felt like everything around him was crashing down.  He wondered where God was and why would He allow a believer to go through all that he had gone through.    He felt alone. I let him talk. From my personal experience, I feel that we all need the time to vent.   I know when I was going through my darkest times all I really wanted was to say it out loud.  I did not want sermons or advice, nor did I want someone to tell me they were praying for me.  What I wanted and needed was someone just to let me say it out loud.  Even though I was my own worst enemy and created my own problems, I needed to verbally express my frustration with my situation.  I was not blaming God, I just wanted to say it without the judgment of other believers. Chuck was no different, he had been experiencing a bit of the dark deep void that Christians occasionally face.  This isn’t the first time that he had been through a period of what felt like he was totally alone. 00:26:00HD Smithnolove, peace, energy, faith, holdmHold on to your FaithRev Kev's Word of Encouragementhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/04/04/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragementChristianityhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/04/04/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragement/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/04/04/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragementTue, 04 Apr 2017 16:00:00 GMTRev Kev's Word of EncouragementLove is one of the most profound emotions known to human beings. There are many kinds of love, but most people seek its expression in a romantic relationship with a compatible partner. For some, romantic relationships are the most meaningful element in their lives, providing a source of deep fulfillment. The ability to have a healthy, loving relationship is not innate. A great deal of evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship begins in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Those relationships are not destiny, but they appear to establish patterns of relating to others. Failed relationships happen for many reasons, and the failure of a relationship is often a source of great psychological anguish. Most of us have to work consciously to master the skills necessary to make them flourish. 00:30:00HD Smithnolove, peace, long, extra, brokenHow much love is really inside your Part 2Rev Kev's Words of Encouragmenthttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/03/28/rev-kevs-words-of-encouragmentReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/03/28/rev-kevs-words-of-encouragment/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/03/28/rev-kevs-words-of-encouragmentTue, 28 Mar 2017 16:00:00 GMTRev Kev's Words of EncouragmentThough I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;   00:30:00HD Smithnolove, peace, tranquility, aggression, financesHow much love is really inside of youFaith under Constructrionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/03/25/faith-under-constructrionReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/03/25/faith-under-constructrion/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/03/25/faith-under-constructrionSat, 25 Mar 2017 15:00:00 GMTFaith under ConstructrionI can see clearly now the rain is gone I can see all obstacles in my way Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind It's gonna be a bright (bright) Bright (bright) sunshiny day It's gonna be a bright (bright) Bright (bright) sunshiny day Oh, yes I can make it now the pain is gone All of the bad feelings have disappeared Here is that rainbow I've been praying for It's gonna be a bright (bright) Bright (bright) sunshiny day Look all around, there's nothing but blue skies Look straight ahead, there's nothing Read more: Jimmy Cliff - I Can See Clearly Now Lyrics | MetroLyrics 00:31:00HD Smithnocan, see, clearly, now, rainI can see clearly nowRev Kev's Word of Encoutagementhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/03/21/rev-kevs-word-of-encoutagementReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/03/21/rev-kevs-word-of-encoutagement/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/03/21/rev-kevs-word-of-encoutagementTue, 21 Mar 2017 16:00:00 GMTRev Kev's Word of EncoutagementWho do people say that I am? What do we do with a book in which 10 children are killed off in the first chapter, only to be replaced by 10 more in the last chapter (as if children were replaceable)? How do we respond to (or preach) a book in which God answers Job's anguish by seemingly browbeating him into submission at the end of the story? God -- at least on an initial reading -- does not come out of this book well. And yet, this book, difficult as it is, has spoken to people of faith through the centuries. Job, in the great lament tradition of ancient Israel, wrestles profoundly and honestly with God. Job holds on to God with fierce faith, but he does not let God off the hook for the inexplicable suffering that so often shadows this world. And in the end, God shows up, responding to Job's lament with a vision of creation radical in its beauty. This week's reading introduces us to the figure of Job and to his suffering. The next three weeks' readings will give the preacher the opportunity to delve into Job's response to suffering, God's speeches at the end of the book, and Job's response to those speeches.1 The first two chapters of Job (our topic for this week) are the part of the story that is probably most familiar to people today. Job is a righteous man who suffers greatly and displays amazing piety. The writer of Job doesn't dwell on this part of the story, however. The events of Job's suffering are quickly narrated in order to get to the core of the book: the 35-chapter-long dialogue between Job and his "friends" and the response of God that follows. We moderns, of course, cannot skim over these first two chapters so quickly. There is much here that calls for our attention: the figure of the Satan, the divine wager. 00:29:00HD Smithnolove, peace, inherit, joy, jobWhat you talking about come out of the book JobRev Kev Word of Encouragementhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/03/07/rev-kev-word-of-encouragementReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/03/07/rev-kev-word-of-encouragement/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/03/07/rev-kev-word-of-encouragementTue, 07 Mar 2017 17:00:00 GMTRev Kev Word of EncouragementHave mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. 2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. 3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me. 4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. 5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me. 6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. 7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. 8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. 9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities. 10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. 11 Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me. 12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit. 13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee. 14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness. 15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. 16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. 00:30:00HD Smithnolove, peace, joy, happy, psalmsDon't let Comfort cancel ConvictionFaith Under Constructionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/25/faith-under-constructionReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/25/faith-under-construction/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/25/faith-under-constructionSat, 25 Feb 2017 16:00:00 GMTFaith Under ConstructionWe ought to be very thankful that the Bible never conceals the faults of its noblest men. David stands high among the highest of these. His words have been for ages the chosen expression for the devotions of the holiest souls; and whoever has wished to speak longings after purity, lowly trust in God, the aspirations of love, or the raptures of devotion, has found no words of his own more natural than those of the poet-king of Israel. And this man sins, black, grievous sin. Self-indulgent, he stays at home while his army is in the field. His moral nature, relaxed by this shrinking from duty, is tempted, and easily conquered. The sensitive poet nature, to which all delights of eye and sense appeal so strongly, is for a time too strong for the devout soul. One sin drags on another. As self-indulgence opened the door for lust, so lust, which dwells hard by hate, draws after it murder. The king is a traitor to his subjects, the soldier untrue to the chivalry of arms, the friend the betrayer of the friend. Nothing can be blacker than the whole story, and the Bible tells the shameful history in all its naked ugliness. Many a precious lesson is contained in it. For instance, It is not innocence which makes men good. ‘This is your man after God’s own heart, is it?’ runs the common, shallow sneer. Yes; not that God thought little of his foul sin, nor that ‘saints’ make up for adultery and murder by making or singing psalms; not that ‘righteousness’ as a standard of conduct is lower than ‘morality’; but that, having fallen, he learned to abhor his sin, and with deepened trust in God’s mercy, and many tears, struggled out of the mire, and with unconquered resolve and strength drawn from a divine source, sought still to press towards the mark. It is not the attainment of purity, not the absence of sin, but the presence and operation, 00:07:00HD SmithnoStill,Standing, peace, loveStill StandingFaith Under Constructionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/18/faith-under-constructionReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/18/faith-under-construction/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/18/faith-under-constructionSat, 18 Feb 2017 16:00:00 GMTFaith Under ConstructionLook to the left and right and I want you to notice the soul standing there that you usually don’t go so hi to.  I want you to no that they are a living testimony that God has done great things to keep them sustained.  I want you to go to that person give that brother or sister a hug and tell them that you love them.  Now once you greet that person give God Praise!!!!!   Now why did I do that, the Psalmist said  Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Magnify The Lord With Me.  See we come to church and we get in a zone and we worship God like no one’s next to us.  But how can you Praise God when you haven’t even acknowledged the brother or sister that has come to worship the Lord with you.  So now after we have greeted each other now we can go before God together and magnify the Lord and exalt his Holy Name We get so caught up at times in our own TITLES, RESPONSIBILITIES, CIRCUMSTANCES, SITUATIONS. However, we can imitate his response when we do face difficulties. As David sat among the ruins of Ziklag and mutinous men spoke of stoning him, he had a choice. David could allow grief and bitterness to conquer him; he could sink into the black hole of depression and give up and quit. Or he could fight back. But before David could fight, he would have to get his strength and courage back. As David looked around him, he saw nothing but discouraged and downcast men. David had no one to encourage him, so he had only one recourse: He "encouraged himself in the Lord his God" (v. 6, KJV). From what we know of David, it is very easy to surmise how David went about encouraging himself. He took his harp, retreated to a solitary place, and began to sing songs of praise to God. No doubt David didn't feel like singing, but he did, anyway. And he didn't sing a sad lament bemoaning his situation. Instead, he sang of the majesty and power of God. He sang of the Creator who had spoken the worlds into existence. He sang of the deliverer who had already given him improbable victories—victory over the lion, victory over the bear, and victory over the Philistine giant Goliath. Through praise and worship, David changed his focus. On the wings of a song his spirit was lifted above his present circumstances into the presence of the One who is high and lifted up. The melodies of David's harp filled the air as the sweet psalmist of Israel sang praises to the God of heaven, who transcends human limitation and is forever seated upon the throne of the universe. 00:26:00HD Smithnoencourage, love, peace, expert, kevinHow to encourage yourselfFaith Under Constructionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/11/faith-under-constructionReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/11/faith-under-construction/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/11/faith-under-constructionSat, 11 Feb 2017 16:00:00 GMTFaith Under ConstructionPeople often wonder “why didn’t God help me?” “why didn’t God answer me?” ”Where was God when I needed him?” Often the answer to these questions is that we allowed ourselves to become distracted. Some may say, No not me…”I prayed”, “I sought after God”, “I did what I was suppose to do” and nothing changed. Well then I would like to ask the questions what made you stop praying? What made you stop seeking God? What made you stop doing what you were supposed to do? Could it be it was because you saw no results taking place, in other words you were distracted by what was not happening. Blessings, faith, and answers are often missed because of distractions. You start out strong and mighty. Your mind is made up that I’m going to wait on God until my change come. But then you realize time is moving on and it seems like nothing still is happening. In fact, it seems like things are getting worse and the small thought “maybe this is not God’s will for me” or “maybe God is not with me” creeps in. Once the first distraction takes root, it causes you to take your eyes off of the Lord God Almighty that you are waiting on and instead place your eyes on the situation which seems all so wrong. The more you look at it the more it grows until it now seems bigger than God. Don’t be fooled, a distraction does not always have to be a problem or a situation that seems to be getting worse. Sometimes it can be a situation that seems all so right. “I know he’s not saved but I believe he really loves me”, “I know this job is going to keep me from church but I’ll now be able to pay all of my bills” or maybe it’s “I know I shouldn’t be hanging around those old friends but I’m tired of being by myself”. 00:31:00HD Smithnolove, life, peace, energy, distractionShake it off and Dont get DistractedRev Kev's Word of Encouragementhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/07/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragementReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/07/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragement/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/07/rev-kevs-word-of-encouragementTue, 07 Feb 2017 17:00:00 GMTRev Kev's Word of Encouragement      Who am I? Where have I come from? And where am I going? These three questions open doors to spiritual self-discovery. We often get so caught up in material life that we begin to identify with our possessions, our jobs and our roles in relationships. Whether we become aware of it or not, we often think of ourselves in direct relationship to our homes, our cars, our clothes, our partners and our families and jobs. Another way to look at it is that we unconsciously think, “I am my job. I am good because I have a good house. I am enviable because I drive a good car. I am a spouse, etc.” But what happens when we lose these things? We lose our imagined identity and we no longer know who we really are. Ancient Asian wisdom traditions used a practice of inquiry as a way to discover who we really are. That is, the part of us which is Real and never changing. It’s a practice of self-discovery to help arrive at the spiritual core of one’s being. A guru (Sanskrit for teacher) would encourage students to ask, “Am I my body?” They were expected to answer “neti, neti.” “Not that. Not that.” My body changes perpetually and eventually will be shed like an old dress or a worn pair of jeans. So I cannot be the body. “Am I the mind?” My mind will lose its sharpness and its ability to think clearly. I may even lose my mind, so I am not the mind. Am I my soul? Even the soul goes through periods of growth and change. In the ancient wisdom traditions, the Spirit or the atma, the unchanging essence that continues even when all else dissolves and changes, is Real. Therefore, they encouraged students to realize, “I am atma.” I am the eternal, unchanging absolute – and to identify with this. This is a powerful way to remain unaffected by the ups and downs of the life’s journey A good way to reinforce this 00:32:00HD Smithnolove, peace, engagement, encouragement, enhancementWho am I ?Faith Under Constructionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/04/faith-under-constructionReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/04/faith-under-construction/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2017/02/04/faith-under-constructionSat, 04 Feb 2017 16:00:00 GMTFaith Under ConstructionWe all go through situations that are unfair; life has thrown you a curve, it’s not what you had planned; even though life is not always fair, God IS fair, and if you will keep his your trust in Him, and not get bitter, but just keep moving forward, God has promised He will pay you back for every unfair thing that’s happened; don’t let one bad break ruin the rest of your life, keep you from the amazing future God has in store; what happened may have been wrong, what they did may have put you at a disadvantage, that was unfair, but what they did cannot stop your destiny, they don’t have the final say, God has the final say, God said “I will restore the years that were stolen, give you beauty for those ashes, weeping may endure for a night, but joy is coming in the morning”; nothing that’s happened to you is a surprise to God, God already has the restoration, vindication, new beginning; that setback was simply a setup for God to take you to a higher level; you’ve gotta shake off the self-pity, the defeat, and get ready for God to do something new, He’s going to pay you back for every injustice Exodus 3:7 (ESV) Then the LORD said, “I have surely seen the affliction of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters. I asked a group of friends the other evening, and we had some fun trying to get a satisfactory definition of dirt. Why is it that if a boy plays in the mud he gets dirty, but a woman can put a mud-pack on her face and she is not dirty! To be sweaty is dirty, though it comes from one's own skin. And so on. Our conclusion was that dirt is something that is socially unacceptable, that indicates slovenliness and lack of care of one's body, that smells bad, that contains elements of decay . . . so one could go on describing dirt without ever reaching an over-all definition. By and large, people were dirtier in Biblical Palestine than they are in Britain today, because of the shortage of water, especially in the desert. I have no doubt that Jesus and his disciples were very sweaty and would not be socially acceptable here. In fact, the Pharisees who were meticulous in their washing, according to their own hygienic and dietary traditions, accused the disciples of being dirty — not washing their hands in the proper way before meals, nor their cups and pots and brass vessels. (Mark 7: 2-4.) I can just imagine them saying: "CLEANLINESS IS NEXT TO GODLINESS!" But Jesus retorted rather sharply, reminding them that their rules of cleanliness were not commanded by God but were merely the traditions of men. Then, in an important statement, Jesus defined what HE meant by dirt. Calling the people to him and claiming their full attention, he said: "Hearken to me everyone, and understand. There is nothing from outside a man that, entering into him, can defile him, because it does not enter into his heart but goes into his stomach and so passes on. But the things that come out of him, these are what defile the man. Spiritually speaking, there is no such thing as inherited dirt or hereditary sin. There is nothing wrong with the human ego as it leaves the hands of the Maker. Those who tell us that the ego is evil and must be destroyed, are telling us we must destroy ourselves, which would be to undo the creative work of God. The human ego is a vessel — a vessel perfectly designed to hold the love and wisdom of God; a beautifully patterned wine glass (each of us with our own distinctive markings and patterns) meant to contain and hold the pure wine of the Life of God. Unfortunately, however, we most of us start off by filling it with dirty, stinking water, from hell. You could change the analogy and think of the ego as a leather bucket, which is sodden with dirty water and oozes thick black fluid into itself. Before putting into it clean spring water you must empty it out and scour it round and disinfect it and dry it; then, and only then, can it be used to contain and hold the Water of Life from God. How does one cleanse one's own ego? We must clean it with that very same Water of Life — the truths of God's Holy Word, the teachings of Scripture. Any truth that reveals God's nature can make us clean if we absorb it and model our lives upon it. So Jesus said in the upper room: "He that believes and is baptized shall be saved." In the past it has generally been assumed that, by baptism here, Jesus was referring specifically to the Sacrament of Baptism used as a sign of admission into the Christian Church. But a better interpretation of our Lord's words would be: "He that believes and is washed clean shall be saved."   00:32:00HD SmithnoWash, cycle, peace, ego, lifeIt will come out in the washFaith Under Constructionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2016/12/10/faith-under-constructionReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2016/12/10/faith-under-construction/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2016/12/10/faith-under-constructionSat, 10 Dec 2016 16:00:00 GMTFaith Under ConstructionExtinguish ‘all’ Satan’s fiery darts [temptations, doubts, anger, etc.]  Ephesians 6:16 This faith protects us from anything Satan can throw at us.  Whether he tries to tempt us, cause us to doubt, or become angry, the shield of faith stops his attacks cold.  It is because, no matter what the circumstances look like, or feel like, we know we can trust God’s promises to be true. Therefore, when Satan sends a temptation our way we know that, “No temptation has overtaken [us] that is not common to man.  God is faithful, and he will not let [us] be tempted beyond [our] ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that [we] may be able to endure it”  (1 Corinthians 10:13 ESV).  And it is the same with any other kind of attack Satan can muster.  We know we can count on the promises of God. Faith is more than mere knowledge or mental assent; it is trust in, and commitment to, Jesus The Bible says that even the demons believe in God (James 2:19); but their belief is not one that saves.  They believe in the fact that God will judge them one day and that judgment will not be enjoyable.  The demon’s type belief is a belief in facts; it is not a trust and commitment to God as Lord. To be saved, we too must have a deep trust and commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord.  A mere mental assent to the facts will not do.   00:29:00HD Smithnofaith, spiritual, warfare, love, peaceThere are some who teach that faith is a force in and of itself. The “Signs and Wonders” movement of the church was a major proponent of this type of thinking.Faith to Stand for your Deliverancehttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2016/12/03/faith-to-stand-for-your-deliveranceReligionhttps://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2016/12/03/faith-to-stand-for-your-deliverance/#commentshttp://www.blogtalkradio.com/thelimnetwork/2016/12/03/faith-to-stand-for-your-deliveranceSat, 03 Dec 2016 16:00:00 GMTFaith to Stand for your DeliveranceI sense that many Christians are defeated in their Christian lives because they are not seriously engaged in the warfare to which we are called. J. C. Ryle saw this in the 19th century. He wrote (“Soldiers and Trumpeters,” Home Truths [Triangle Press], 1:90), “The saddest symptom about many so-called Christians is the utter absence of anything like conflict and fight in their Christianity.” He went on to say that they go through the motions of attending religious services each week. Then he added (ibid.), “But of the great spiritual warfare,--its watchings and strugglings, its agonies and anxieties, its battles and contests,--of all this they appear to know nothing at all.” 00:30:00HD Smithnolove, peace, passion, christians, warfareI sense that many Christians are defeated in their Christian lives because they are not seriously engaged in the warfare to which we are called. First Peter 1:3-9 reveals the difficult truth that adversity, when addressed in God’s power, creates greater faith. Just as a fire purifies precious metals, hardship strips away all but the pure core of faith. 4. EXAMINE THE TESTIMONIES OF OTHERS. A testimony is an individual’s own account of the Lord’s activity in his life. No one can ever deny, refute, or downplay someone else’s testimony. When you hear of God’s mighty deeds in another person’s life, your own faith grows. 5. PRAY. You get to know someone by talking to him. That’s what prayer is: your personal communication with God. But don’t just talk; be sure to spend time listening. God wants to speak to you. 6. PRACTICE OBEDIENCE. You will never grow in your faith if you consistently disobey what God tells you to do. Perfect faith is a by-product of obedience. Put yourself in a position to see God’s best for your life, and your faith will soar. Faith does not increase by accident. Growth takes time, dedication, and intentionality. Ask the Lord to help you exercise your faith today. 00:30:00HD Smithnofaith, love peace, anxiety, aggrivationA bodybuilder doesn’t begin by lifting 500 pounds the first day. A key doctrine in Christianity is the Inerrancy of Scripture, meaning the Bible in its original, handwritten state is without error. The Bible itself claims to be the inspired Word of God, or "God-breathed" (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21). It unfolds as a divine love story between the Creator God and the object of his love--man. In the pages of the Bible we learn of God's interaction with mankind, his purposes and plans, from the beginning of time and throughout history. 00:30:00HD Smithnofaith, under, construction, love,ChristianFaith is defined as belief with strong conviction; firm belief in something for which there may be no tangible proof; complete trust, confidence, reliance or de
