Hosts Ron Bachman and Doug Field will be on the air at 11 a.m. (ET) today for this week's edition of HealthCare Consumerism Radio. Joining us on today's show will be featured guests from Certifi and Castlight Health.

The first guest will be Jamie Hall, chief sales and marketing officer at Certifi, the provider of William®, the only consolidated billing platform built specifically to address the financial complexity of operating in an exchange environment. In this interview, Jamie will discuss innovations in consolidated premium payment for health insurance exchanges. While exchange models continue to evolve and diversify, the billing solutions used to support these platforms have not kept pace, resulting in unnecessary rigidity and continued manual intervention/reconciliation. The next generation of billing solutions solve for complexity in the software, allowing a more nimble, flexible exchange deployments and better consumer experiences.

The second guest will be Jonathan Rende, chief research and development officer at Castlight Health. In this interview, Jonathan will discuss the barriers to health care consumerism and how Castlight’s platform helps to break those barriers down. Jonathan will discuss Castlight’s recent product announcement Castlight Action, the first fully-automated platform for benefits professionals to leverage data and predictive analytics to connect employees to the right benefits and programs. Finally, Jonathan will talk about what is important for employees and their employees, and the impact predictive analytics can make by leveraging technology to cut costs and ensure their employees get the best possible care.
