On this week's program, hosts Andrew Dietz and Doug Field are joined by special guests from Paylogix and CBIZ.

The first guest is Richard Pfadenhauer, the founder and president of Paylogix, a licensed and bonded TPA providing the trademark Consolidated Billing® service and technology solutions to prominent insurers and benefit providers across the country. In this segment, Richard will provide the audience with insights into the emerging the private exchange market, the features of Paylogix's Exchange Builder™ platform and the importance of engaging employees to fulfill the promises of health care consumerism.

The second guest is Zack Pace, a senior vice president of benefits consulting at CBIZ, Inc. In this interview, Zack and the hosts will cover the issues around health plan spousal exclusions. In an effort to lower health plan costs, employers today are increasingly excluding employees’ spouses – who have access to coverage through their own employers – from their health plans. These exclusions, while effective at driving spouses off the plan, create multiple challenges for the employer. Meanwhile, other employers have discovered that an alternative method delivers the same result with greater efficiency.
