Joe and Tom are joined by Alysse Soll, a sports industry veteran, who is currently president of NewModel Advisory. Alysse tells the amazing story of how a decision to swap her figure skates for hockey skates while at Cornell University ultimately landed her a job in grassroots fan acquisition for the San Jose Sharks, followed by a decorated career in fan developement and marketing at the NHL. The group discusses how sports technology is transforming the sports marketing and fan engagement landscape and how it’s just the beginning for what will become an increasingly impactful field across all aspects of business and on-field product. As board chair of Women in Sports Tech (WIST), Alysse also discusses her advocacy for the next generation of STEM-focused women in sports. || @WomenSportsTech ||  The CUSP Show is a production by the faculty of Sports Management at Columbia University.
