Founder of Black Girls Smile, & Mental Health Wellness Advocate Joins Us

May is Mental Health Awareness Month!  

Mental ilness is so often stigmatized, we talk about it in hushed whispers or in secret. Well this is a very special episode of The Curvy Confidential. We will be joined by Lauren Carson, the founder of non-profit Black Girls Smile (BGS), an organization dedicated to mental health awareness and education for young women of color. 

Lauren will share her story, why she founded BGS and share resources for good mental health. We are shouting out loud about mental health and providing tips for mental wellness. Your body is not the only part of you that needs to be well. Healthy minds are important too!
