• MLB – What a week for Baseball . . . Puig traded to the Indians, the day he gets traded. Now has landed a 3 game suspension. Garrett from the Reds charges the Pittsburgh dugout. Reds and Pirates are NOT friends.

• We have 3 MLB teams in line to go to Vegas. Most likely, right now anyway, the D-Backs. But the other 2 are still in the mix. Tampa, who has zero attendance. And a wild card – Oakland, who may join their cousins in Vegas in 2020. Who knows?

• Trevor Bauer shows up in the Cleveland ballpark disguised as a fan after being traded to Reds

• Yanks did nothing before trade deadline, and all Cashman could say is: we had a lot of ideas but we couldn't get close to anything. Seems pretty weak to me. Will that hurt them down the stretch? We'll see.

• NFL – HOF game was on last night. DEN over ATL 14-10

• Next Thursday the pre-season officially kicks off. NFL is here!
