About Fantom of the Beat

Coming from Staten Island and also known as Haas G, he started his career as part of the duo UMC's.  In the early 90's they received acclaim for their single "Blue Cheese" and their follow up single "One to Grow on" was on the billboard as the #1 rap song!  Other projects included "Fruits of Nature" and "Unleashed".  He says music is the universal language.  He has produced several genres and has worked with people such as Ghostface Killah, 50 Cent, Busta Rhymes, Raekwon, Sadat X, Ms. Toi and more!  His labels include Def Jam, Aftermath, Koch, Epic and Universal.  In addition to all of this, he is also well respected and loved for his style.  He blends elements of 60's and 70's hip hop and tries to speak to the inner city struggles.  Music is life!  POW!
