The Fire Squad (with Ebony Fire) was recommended to me by the network owner who, at the time,  was doing research on contextual female topics: How do women overachieve in a world that is predominately male?  As women rightfully demand a place in their work-space the question becomes ... Can we really have it all (and have fun doing it)?   The Fire Squad (with EbonyFire) provides a great wealth of women's successes, resources, and advice on how to effectively navigate one's work-space and industry.

Each episode, under the operation of its host and curator, Ebony Fire Mitchell, features discussions with experts in various fields (plus) stories told by friends about their unique environments and industries. Though this radio show is intended to be a resource for women, it wouldn't do much harm for men to listen as well. The network owner herself acknowledges that public radio is often too coy and juvenile regarding programming, so this show is a place where pretty much anything goes and nobody is shy.
