Host Robert Batista welcomes Lindsay Wong, the author of the best-selling, award-winning memoir The Woo-Woo: How I Survived Ice Hockey, Drug-Raids, Demons, And My Crazy Chinese Family. Her debut won the Hubert-Evans Prize in Non-fiction, and was a finalist for the prestigious 2018 Hilary Weston Prize and the 2019 edition of Canada Reads. Her first YA novel, Iris Wang's Summer of Love and Misfortune, is forthcoming from Simon Pulse in 2020. She is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
