In July of 2011, Spencer Scarber was held at knife point, beaten and tortured for four hours. Portions of the event were audio recorded and handed over to the police for "evidence".  The next day, Spencer was arrestted and charged with rape.  Later, Spencer fled to Mexico before his first trial and was sentenced absentia for rape, burglary and robbery.  This case takes a strange turn as Spencer's father, mother and sister were suspected in aiding his escape into Mexico.  Spencer's sentencing trial is 1/15/14.  We will discuss his case with his mother Gail and sister Crystal on The Other Side Of Justice.
