Morgan Roach & the Attacks on U.S. Embassies

Heritage policy analyst, Morgan Roach drops in to share the “The REALLLY, Real, Deal with Brother Craig the Hatchet Man” about the recent murders of U.S. Ambassador, Chris Stevens, in Libya, and three U.S. diplomats, as well as the attempt by Islamist militants to further exploit the violence.  A recent New York Times article reported that a onetime mentor of Osama bin Laden called on his followers to replicate the violent acts that occurred in Libya and Egypt.  In addition to this, Heritage’s Jim Phillips wrote in June about a larger Iranian campaign to assassinate foreign diplomats, including Israeli and Saudi diplomats, in at least seven countries over 13 months.  Morgan Roach studies and writes about Africa, the Middle East and transatlantic relations as research associate in The Heritage Foundation’s Margaret Thatcher Center for Freedom.  Morgan is liaison on related policy issues with senior U.S. government officials as well as with Embassy Row and other think tanks.
