Today we’ll take a look at Public Displays of Affection (in some circles referred to as PDAs) between romantic partners. In the first case, husband, Harold, and wife Jenny, are at odds because she says his pats on her rear end in public are embarrassing.  He says he’s just being affectionate. In the second case, boyfriend, Andre, and girlfriend, Gayle, are at odds because Gayle is extremely affectionate in public, wanting to hold hands, kiss and have Andre put his arm around her when they sit next to each other. Andre says that’s not his thing, he has had several girlfriends and has never been publicly demonstrative, he keeps his business private. The last case is a same sex couple. Pam and Mo (short for Maurine) were asked by Pam’s aunt to leave her uncle’sfuneral after the two were seen kissing on the lips, and family members were quite offended. Our guest today will discuss this issue in light of the recent showing of a film on “Coming Out.
