So shouldn't we seek his guidance in raising them. What does God say about it? The Bible states clearly in Isaiah 55:8 that his ways are not ours ways either are his thoughts ours, So let's trust him and listen for his guidance with our children. God renewed your spirit and mind, so that he can use them. God has a part and so do we, to take every thought captive and be disciplined in the things of the Lord. If we don't have God's Word glued to us, we can step away from God's way of doing things. The combination of the Word and experiences with Christ, they both are our connection to the reality God wants for us. We are dealing with two things heavenly and earthy we must have Balance between the two. We learn how through prayer and worship to be balanced. We as parents all want the best for our children and set out with the goal of the of raising well rounded, self motivated, polite and creative children. But somewhere along a way life and their situations cause the dreams we had for our children not to be fulfilled. The aim of this opening episode of The Family Chronicle and others is to assist us the parents in gaining the knowledge to grow as people. Then we can help our children to grow into the epitome of the adult we wanted to raise. If you want to operate a car or repair something you turn to the manual. So when it comes to us as humans who better to consult in the inter workings than the creator, God himself. If we lead only by what we know, even with all of the information out here it’s not enough. Our children still aren't becoming the people we envisioned when we first held them in our arms and looked into their eyes right after they were born. We had such dreams for them but there did we go wrong.
