Join show host Richard Jordan in welcoming Johnny McCoy who shares his personal encounter with an interior brown bear (Grizzly) when attacked and mauled unmercifully. Johnny gives God the glory for his rapid recovery and holds no gudges against the apex predator of the continent. In spite of the attack Johnny encourages men and their families to visit Alaska but in more populated areas where groups provide a safer haven from wildlife habitat.
CSF also continues to promote the Fall 2012 Alaska Wilderness Missions trips to the Last Frontier. Johnny serves asa CSF Master Sportsman and is available for speaking engagements across the lower forty-eight states. Men and their families from across the peninsula are being invited to attend the Fall camp held on August 10-17th, 2012.
Each year CSF engages in up to eight different building projects across the peninsula including construction for the Alaska Christian College, Alaska Bible Institute, the Community Food Bank, local churches and more!
Johnny McCoy has served as a baptist pastor for many years and invites you to visit the First Baptist Church of North Pole in the North Country. He remains passionate about combining his outdoors recreation with his love and growing commitment to Jesus Christ.
