The Gift of Worship Comes from God

Worship was God’s gift to man and man only.  Angels worship God because they behold Him, they worship Him for what He is. They can’t praise Him for what He’s done, and that must come into our economy.  We must praise Him for what He’s done (salvation) and worship Him for who He is.  Of all the creatures that God created, man is the only one recorded with the privilege to worship.  No other creature worships God, for no other creature is spirit.  You cannot worship if you don’t have an eternal spirit in you.
