TFT Interviews Michael Butz

Mike Butz and I met at the Students First Facebook Page where we engage in armed combat over education reform policies, especially those pushed by Michelle Rhee and her Students First Lobbying group.

Mike is not a teacher. He is, however, a concerned and loving father who worries about America's education system.

Joining us on the show --maybe-- will be a few other folks who engage in respectful debate at the SF FB page. Hopefully we will have Dave Russell, Eileen Doherty, Jane Howard, Jon Lubar, Sahila Changebringer, Sarah Attleson, Diane Hanfmann and Stuart Rhoden (doubtful).

Michael is: Director of Compliance and Quality Improvement, Illinois College of Optometry and Illinois Eye Institute

Michael is an expert in the health care quality improvement, compliance and patient safety fields.  Michael has led quality, compliance, training, and corporate communication initiatives in both hospital and ambulatory care settings.  Michael has created and led physician and staff education programs that have resulted in facility-wide certification by national healthcare facility accrediting bodies.  He is also a published author.
