Tonight, on "Its Real Talk Radio", we will be having a discussion on U.S. states reopening from shutdown, due to the Coronavirus pandemic and the question we're asking is “Do you think it's too soon?” Joined by new cohosts Bobby G. (former NFL Weekly Wrap Up cohost) and Michel from the "Between Us Girls" podcast, we will be diving in on this very controversial discussion. States that plan on reopening include: Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, Florida and other joining states.

We know that it has been recommended by medical experts such as Dr. Fauci that states not reopen until they have shown a flattening of the curve and 2 weeks of continued decline in Coronavirus cases.

Some mayors and other city and county leaders along with concerned citizens and media personnel have spoken strongly against states reopening from shutdown so soon. One of the greatest fears is that desperate citizens will flee to neighboring states to participate in daily functions they've been deprived of, thereby coming in contact with the virus, becoming infected, then taking the virus back home with them. If that were to happen, this could start a domino effect that could devastate hospitals who have already been barely able to maintain the high flow of COVID-19 patients, mostly due to shortages of hospital beds, PPE and a shortage of staff due to staff members becoming infected.

It's undeniable that if states open up too early, there will be more sick patients and sadly more deaths, due to more exposure and infection but some people feel like it's a necessary sacrifice for the greater good of the economy. So what side of the coin are you on?

A - Stay patient and continue to stay at home while more testing is developed and made available?

B - Reopen businesses with proper precaution and sanitation while maintaining 6 feet of space between each other for the foreseeable future?
