The Winter Solstice—about December 20th-24th corresponded to the most important time of the year in the life of the ancient Egyptians and subsequently in several other cultures. The ability of the spirit to manifest its attributes is time conditioned, according to ancient Egyptian teachings. While we must work on the cultivation of our divinity each and every day it is only at the winter solstice that the spirit is able to give evidence of the realization of divinity in the life of the initiate. The cycle that governs the initiation work begins in February and has various djdbfdbf—the equinoxes, the summer solstice and the culmination point at the winter solstice. If you have not gone through the cycle of initiation work you will not be able to take full advantage of the winter solstice opportunity. Nevertheless, there are rituals and meditations that can be performed to gain significant benefit from the planetary state of energy of the time. Ra Un Nefer Amen, author of Metu Neter, Maat 11 Laws of God and other international best sellers on Kamitic spirituality will share with you the things that you can do to make this winter solstice a blessed event and a preparation for the winter solstices to come, especially the winter solstice of 2012 to which the Mayan calendar has given a special meaning.
