This week we will be joined by Bruno Marcocchio who has been an active and outspoken critic of the Muskrat Falls proposed deal and its process of sanction. Many of you have heard him on talk shows and in the media express those  concerns. This show allows Bruno to explain in greater detail what he believes the issues are and what alternatives there may be. As always - the more information we have the better the choices we make.

Who is Bruno?
Bruno Marcocchio has been involved with the Sierra Club Canada since 2002. He has worked on a number of campaigns including the clean-up of the Sydney tar ponds, stopping seismic testing in the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Deep Panuke offshore gas project, the successful campaign to stop the Digby mega-quarry, the now stalled Irving St. John refinery and a number of other campaigns.

Bruno has been a member of the national Environmental Assessment caucus since 1990 when he, and current Sierra Club Canada Executive Director John Bennett, led a spirited community campaign to oppose the construction of the Point Aconi coal fired power plant.

Bruno has been working on the Labrador Lower Churchill hydro project since the announcement in 2008.
