Dr. Jorge Chiu - Getting Back On The Road

When we last spoke to Guatemala City firefighter/paramedic/heart surgeon Dr. Jorge Chiu, he was riding off into the sunset in a "new" ambulance. The sorely needed vehicle was made possible by the many people who donated money to a fundraiser that was launched and coordinated by photographer and former Talkupy guest Giles Clark.

Sadly, that was not to be the beginning of a happy ending. The ambulance has been out of commission months due to an accident in early December. Talkupy with Annie Lindstrom welcomes Jorge to the show on Sunday Feb. 1 at 7 pm ET to tell us what happened, how people can help get him back on the road saving lives, and why it's so important to him and the people he serves.
