Many people walk by homeless people without so much as a glance. Others look on believing it could never happen to them. Nothing could be further from the truth.
Talkupy with Annie Lindstrom welcomes artist William "Emor" Askew Jr. to the show to discuss his Cardboard Auctions Project to raise awareness about homelessness and funds for the homeless and organizations that help them on Sunday, August 3 at 8 p.m. Eastern Time.
Artist Emor's project began in January 2014 on the frigid streets of New York City where he spent time meeting and sketching, drawing and painting portraits on pieces of cardboard of people living on the streets. He is returning to NYC this week to continue his work.
