Joey Kramer, the co-founder and CFO of Apple Pie Painting, joins Smart Companies Thinking Bigger host Kelly Scanlon to discuss the company's twist on painting parties and their expansion.

Joey and his wife April launched Apple Pie Painting as an alternative to the painting parties where participants go to a studio to paint as a group. Instead, an Apple Pie Painting instructor goes to the party host's home or other venue of choice. Apple Pie Painting is the third company Joey has started since 2009. As a strong advocate of the Kansas City startup community, Joey is dedicated to helping other like-minded entrepreneurs achieve their success and reach their goals.

Tune in to learn about the company's expansion plan: The company also recently launched its 1 Million Brushes Painting Kits online, and have an Indiegogo campaign running. With this new line of in-home painting kits, the Kramers have pledged to donate 1 million paint brushes to children around the world to help inspire creativity and art.
