Minstrel and Muse on Talk About Radio welcomes author Diana Gabaldon to the show to discuss the Starz Television Series Adaptation of her novel Outlander which was recently voted the BEST TELEVISION DRAMA of 2014. 

Author Diana Gabaldon holds three degrees in Science: Zoology, Marine Biology, and a Ph.D. in Quantitative Behavioral Ecology, (plus, an honorary degree as Doctor of Humane Letters).  In 1991 she wrote a practice novel set in Scotland, a country she had never visited, Outlander, and the rest, 7 more series novels, 1 companion (one on the way out soon), 12 novellas, (26 million books in print, and who knows how many ebooks and audible versions), is history.  The novels have been made into a television series for the Starz Network: the first set of 8 premiered August 9th, and the second set of 8, all based on the first novel in the series, will air April 4, 2015.
