The holidays are just around the corner – can the stress of the holidays cause domestic violence to escalate? Lisa Allison, Executive Director of Friends of Animals Utah, joins us to discuss The Purple Paw Project. This innovative program is committed to assuring victims of domestic violence in Northern Utah are able to escape abusive households and bring their pet(s) along with them to safe sanctuary. Writer, speaker and mentor Tracie Nichols, who helps survivors experience a sense of spiritual belonging and move into a state of thriving, shares how pets can be an integral and grounding part in the journey of learning to trust people again. As always, you will hear from our animal guest, as well as tips and ideas on how you can communicate with animals!
