Mont Brown, named the Southwest Philadelphia Ambassador by State Senator Anthony Hardy Williams, is an entrepreneur, music artist, community leader, philanthropist and 2015 BMe Leader. Coming from Southwest Philadelphia, Brown believes in the power of unity. His story is an inspiration to youth who face similar challenges in life. His mother was incarcerated for the majority of his life and his father died while he was a young child. He was then raised by his grandmother whom he helped with her battle against breast cancer. He then lost two of his close friends to gun violence.

The vision for The Kickback Foundation is to create opportunities for individuals to thrive off of their own ambitions, but to do so with passion, integrity and style. Brown is devoted to providing personalized attention and mentoring for the youth in inner-city communities through, music, art, and creative expression.
The Kickback Foundation has held events that include the "Stop the Violence" Kickback festival aimed at creating a day where no violence takes places in the community, Thanksgiving Coat and Food Drive, which benefit over 4,000 residents living in Southwest Philadelphia, free brunch for neighborhood seniors, ice skating parties and celebrity basketball tournaments to raise money for the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

California native & kayak fishing journalist Paul Lebowitz will join Kayak Fishing Raw to talk the growth of offshore kayak fishing, kayak drama & much more!
Paul has been a kayak fishing journalist since 2002 - He picked it up because many of the great stories and personalities of the sport haven't been properly covered by mainstream media.
He started with a long-gone pulp giveaway named Kayak Fisherman, have had columns at west coast's Fishwrap; glossy regional magazine Pacific Coast Sportfishing; and Western Outdoor News, the country's largest outdoor weekly; and have had stints as editor of North America glossies Kayak Angler and Kayak Fish.
Although Paul has given up keeping track of every great white shark attack on a kayak angler, He used to follow them closely. Paul interviewed and reported on some half dozen great white on kayak shark strikes, and published a series of stories looking at the data.
Kayak Fishing will also go over some final thoughts on the 2016 Sailfish Smack Down taking place this weekend January 30th & 31st in Pompano Beach, FL. There will also be a surprising guest who has seen a UFO while fishing on a kayak in Michigan.

"The Scandinavian way to play flag football"
Interview with: Lena Johansson from Gothenburg, Sweden
Hosted by: Diane Beruldsen
From Gothenburg, Sweden we speak to Lena Johansson about what it was like in 2000 to first hear about and then learn this new and strange sport called: flag football. Sweden did not have any teams playing the sport and this group of women take on the huge task by themselves.
Learning the sport by reading the rules, practicing for one year with no competition, being trained by one of their own players and then traveling to their first competition in the United States to the Key West Kelly McGillis Classic where there were 48 women's flag football teams and about to compete against teams with a completely different style.
What an experience it was for Sweden's earliest women's flag football teams called the: Gothenburg Angels.
We talk about the tournaments in Scandinavia and how they differ with American flag football tournaments. It is an interesting conversation which you will enjoy.
