From the articles by Harriet Hall "Atrractive women are more likely to succeed" a debate on Feminism and Body Image and Jay Cradeur's "Men, Are you Afraid? You should be" the group gets into these very relevant isues of the millennial generation. They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but who is that, exactly? Is it the advertising industry? Perhaps the most important relationship we will have in this lifetime is our relationship with fear. Fear is the trigger for our most natural human response of “fight or flight.” So join Robert, Abby, and Dan tonight and do forget to follow us on twitter!
Tonight On Unspoken Words Robert Dunn, Abby Fleming, & Dan Dye discuss the issues of Attraction, Sex, Social media, & Feminism. From the articles by Harriet Hall "Atrractive women are more likely to succeed" a debate on Feminism and Body Image and Kate Lloyd's "When women get addicted to sexting" the group gets into these very relevant isues of the millennial generation. They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but who is that, exactly? Is it the advertising industry? The patriarchy? The person sitting opposite us in a job interview? The trolls on Twitter? Or the lens of your smartphone? Sexting has become a part of everyday life for anyone with a smartphone and a libido. An online survey from Drexel University this summer found that 82 percent of the 840 participants, aged 18 to 82, had sexted at least one person in the past year. Thing is—just like with booze and food—the majority of people consume in moderation, but there are a few who end up doing it compulsively. So join Robert, Abby, and Dan tonight and do forget to follow us on twitter!
You might not like it but somebody has got to say it! Some say if they speak out and up about what is happening in the black community they will be considered an uncle Tom or a "white folks N****" or some think because they are white they can't address or speak out on black issues. Enough with the foolishness somebody has got to speak up and if not us then who? Join me as we discuss the black community, the black church and the blasphemy of millennial blackness. Did you hear Ms. Simmons a 92 YR OLD BLACK MATRIARC was kicked out of her church of over 50 years because she was sick and shut in and couldn't pay her tithes? Yes this is the kind of blasphemy and corporate church/black ignorance we must address! 347-308-8988
