Combat Veterans face issues known in a capacity different than than any other Veteran or Civilian. The ghosts can live long and large. Combat Veteran's Motorcycle Association is an organization that helps lend support to its members (all who have served in combat), and all other Veterans. www.combatvet.org Rich Leasure and Crystal Larson will be my guests.
Rich Leasure, Jr joined the USAF in 1989 and is still on active duty. He currently serve as a Road Captain and Public Affairs Officer for CVMA Omaha. Rich served in Operation Desert Shield / Operation Desert Storm the first time and Operation Iraqi Freedom / Operation New Dawn the second time.
Crystal Larson's husband Randy was medically retired from the Army National Guard in December 2014 with 19 ½ years of service. During that time he was deployed twice to Afghanistan, 2004-2005 and 2009-2010. Randy was diagnosed with PTSD in 2005 after his first deployment and it has been a journey ever since trying to find a new normal for our life. It has not always been an easy journey, but with much help and prayer, our marriage is the best it has ever been.
This show is a gathering place for anyone seeking recovery from the challenges of life on life's terms. We discuss useful tools that have helped us lighten the load, of our journey through recovery. This is a "we" recovery program, because it is in the "we," that we find the new "me". We focus on the four A's of Recovery: Awareness, Acceptance, Action and Adaptation. This is a place for survivor's striving to become thrivers.

Hector Barajas and Carl Holgate Re: Banished veterans to Mexico
I am a Whistleblower who exposed Fraud in a Federal Agency.
Due to the knowledge and exposure, I received harassment in my workplace.
Upon taking my stand, I was continually harrassed and bullied, although I consistently reported this behavior.
However, when the harassment and bullying became unbearable, I filed a complaint (September 2010).
Overtime, the harassment and bullying went unaddressed and resulted in an ASSAULT, against me, in my workplace.
What I've learned from this whole experience...
The current complaint system is being utilized to "Out" Whistleblowers and/or other employees who file complaints in their respective Federal Agency.
This current utilization of the complaint system is putting Whistleblowers and complaint filers at great risk of Bullying, harassment, violence, and undocumented retaliation, while exposing Fraud, Waste & Abuse.
Although it happens more often than people know, cases are waited out for long periods of time, until Complainants are completely broke and/or completely broken.
As a Federal Employee, a Veteran, and as a Mother...
It is only right to fight against injustice, to help make the system fair and balanced for everyone!

In light of recent events, CHADMAN welcomes his friend and fellow combat vet, Jordan Allman to the show to discuss veteran non-profits and how easily they can let their reputations and donations become more important than actually helping veterans. Especially when these organizations begin to fire employees for not wanting to play along and by chastising anybody who questions their actions. Both CHADMAN and Jordan were a part of one local organization in Bakersfield, CA and got to see how things are really done on the inside and away from the spotlight. They also discuss the "22 a day" veteran suicide statistic, which has veterans and civilians alike doing a push up challenge to bring awareness to veteran suicide. The only problem is that the numbers are inaccurate and the research does not reflect all 50 states. CHADMAN has been very vocal about this. Unfortunately, this has been proven to be upsetting to fellow veterans. But the facts and numbers do not lie. As seen here in this Washington Post article from 2015:
This episode is intended to bring awareness of it's own: That just because an organization has money, connections, and access to the media, that does not make them the BE ALL / END ALL for veterans. And also, that all of the good deeds that they do can be erased by a few bad actions or examples of unprofessionalism.

TOP STORIES TONIGHT
1. Navy SEAL, Charlie Keating IV was killed on the fron lines in Iraq and the Obama administration refuses to honor him as a soldier killed in combat. Is this to save a few bucks on a Military Funeral? Or purposely disrespectful?
2. Indiana has installed 2 "Baby Drop-Boxes" at 2 fire houses. I understand that you want to look out for the child and make sure that the child is not left in a trash can to die . . . But, when are we going to start teaching responsibility rather than promoting irresponsibility?
