    in Christianity

In Luke 19, As they came to the Bethany, on the Mount of Olives, Jesus sent two disciples ahead, with instructions to go to the next village, and as they entered they were to look for a donkey tied beside the road. They brought the colt to Jesus and threw some of their clothing across its back for Jesus to sit on. Then the crowds spread out their robes along the road ahead of him, and as they reached the place where the road started down from the Mount of Olives, the whole procession began to shout and sing as they walked along, praising God for all the wonderful miracles Jesus had done. “God has given us a King!” they exulted. “Long live the King! Let all heaven rejoice! Glory to God in the highest heavens!”  FRIENDS, JESUS SET HIS MIND TO GO TO JERUSALEM EVEN THOUGH HE KNEW THE TIME HAD COME FOR HIM TO DIE ON THE CROSS... JESUS CONTINUED TO TEACH THE PEOPLE IN THE TEMPLE UNTIL THE DAY HE WAS ARRESTED, TRIED AND CRUCIFIED! NO ONE ELSE WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO COMPLETE THIS MISSION IMPOSSIBLE! BUT JESUS, THE PERFECT SACRIFICE, WAS VICTORIOUS! JESUS DIED AND WAS RESURRECTED ON THE THE THIRD DAY! HE AROSE FROM THE DEAD AND NOW LIVES FOREVER! Hebrews 10:5-7 That is why Christ said as he came into the world, “O God, the blood of bulls and goats cannot satisfy you, so you have made ready this body of mine for me to lay as a sacrifice upon your altar. You were not satisfied with the animal sacrifices, slain and burnt before you as offerings for sin. Then I said, ‘See, I have come to do your will, to lay down my life, just as the Scriptures said that I would.’”

"The King is Coming" - Matt Stutzman

    in Entertainment

Matt Stutzman is the senior leader at Church at Baltimore located at 205 South Augusta Avenue, Baltimore, Maryland 21229, where Sunday services are held each Sunday at 10 a.m.

It was prophesied by Zechariah more than 500 years in advance, but when Yeshua (Jesus), the King, entered the city on a colt (young donkey) he did not appear to be the triumphant King who he is. Much like when God tells us certain things will happen in our lives, but they never come in the form we expect them to appear, which is why many times we miss what is right before us that has been given to us as a blessing for our lives, because its presentation is not what we had in mind. This powerful message will cause you to look at how God has already given you what you need, but you will need to re-train yourself on what that will look like when it arrives.

Palm Sunday and the Way of the Cross

    in Christianity

Now when they drew near to Jerusalem, to Bethphage and Bethany, at the Mount of Olives, Jesus[a] sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the village in front of you, and immediately as you enter it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it. If anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it and will send it back here immediately.’” And they went away and found a colt tied at a door outside in the street, and they untied it.  And some of those standing there said to them, “What are you doing, untying the colt?” And they told them what Jesus had said, and they let them go. And they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks on it, and he sat on it. And many spread their cloaks on the road, and others spread leafy branches that they had cut from the fields. And those who went before and those who followed were shouting,“Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!  Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!”

    in Christianity

John 12:12-15 The next day a great multitude that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees and went out to meet Him, and cried out:“Hosanna!‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’The King of Israel!” Then Jesus, when He had found a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written: “Fear not, daughter of Zion;Behold, your King is coming,Sitting on a donkey’s colt.”

    Low Down and Dirty 2/8/2016

    in Radio

Three generations of drivers in one family is not an everyday thing in motorsports. It is with great pleasure to have nice guy number one on the show this week. Out of the hills of Schuylkill County PA. Mr. Colt Harris. A steady campaigner at Big Diamond Speedway in the modified division, Colt’s family has a long history in stock car racing. We will catch up on all of that along with what Colt has planned for the upcoming season.

Nice guy number two has the repetition as being old school. Some would say along with being a nice guy he is also crazy. LD&D met this guy last summer as he towed his USAC AMSOIL Non-Wing Sprint Car into PA on a open trailer all the way from Iowa. Also known as the "Colfax Comet" we are looking forward to having Mr. Robert Bell on the show. Robert is the 2015 Speedway Illustrated Ken Schrader Real Racer of the Year Award winner and we know there is a story behind that.
