    in Self Help

Join us on Fridays with host, Pa’Ris’Ha and members of The Learning Center for Human Development for an hour of learning and lively, interactive discussion.

We are currently reading  Michio Kaku's "The Future of the Mind: The Scientific Quest to Understand, Enhance, and Empower the Mind."

“This deeply fascinating book by theoretical physicist Kaku explores what might be in store for our minds: practical telepathy and telekinesis; artificial memories implanted into our brains; and a pill that will make us smarter. He describes work being done right now on using sensors to read images in the human brain and on downloading artificial memories into the brain to treat victims of strokes and Alzheimer’s. ..for general readers who have never really thought of the brain in all its glorious complexity and potential, the book could be a seriously mind-opening experience.” -David Pitt, review at Amazon.com

When?  Fridays  at 5:00pm Pacific/9:00pm Eastern

The Helios Biblios Hour (book of the SUN) : May Day The Destiny of America pt2

    in Current Events

Over one hundred years have passed since that first May Day. In the earlier part of the 20th century, the US government tried to curb the celebration and further wipe it from the public's memory by establishing "Law and Order Day" on May 1. We can draw many parallels between the events of 1886 and today. We still have locked out steelworkers struggling for justice. We still have voices of freedom behind bars as in the cases of Mumia Abu Jamal and Leonard Peltier. What is the origin of mayday as a distress signal The term Mayday is used internationally as a distress signal in voice procedure radio communications. It derives from the French venez m'aider, meaning “come help me”. It is used to signal a life-threatening emergency by many groups, such as police forces, pilots, firefighters, and transportation organizations.Draco’s story and his infamous Draconian Laws, offers us much food for thought and teaches us numerous political lessons. Draco, though commissioned by the majority of his co-citizens, and not the “gods” like his predecessors, failed to deliver a people-friendly legal system. Instead, he became notorious for delivering one of the most inhumane and harshest legal codes the world has ever known. Nevertheless, from the ashes of that failure a revolutionary system slowly emerged which would soon set the foundation for a significant portion of modern law and politics in the Western world.

The Real Deal Bible Study With Host Minister Akaiha In The Book of Joshua !

    in The Bible

Welcome Royal Family & I greet you with the joy that comes from knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. God's has an awesome purpose and plan for our lives. Even Greater Things (John 14:12). We are so excited you have tuned in today. . Praise the Lord for the great things He has done!

As our ancestors would say " I'm a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody who can save everybody". I pray that God will enabled you to further open your eyes and ears to Gods' word.

The name Joshua was taken from the Hebrew word Yehoshua or Jehoshua meaning "Gods salvation," being one of the spies for Israel and identified in several passages as Moses' assistant. He is the central figure in the Hebrew Bible's Book of Joshua. According to the books of Exodus, Numbers and Joshua, he became the leader of the Israelite tribes after the death of Moses. His name was Hoshe'a the son of Nun, of the tribe of Ephraim, but Moses called him Yehoshu'a the name by which he is commonly known. The name is shortened to Yeshua in Nehemiah.

“God is not just in the church; He is also in technology. My mission is to empower people spiritually. “Walking with God is to stand where God stands, and to fight for whom God fights: the poor, the weak, the powerless and the defenseless. Walking with God is to have the courage to know that fear and trepidation before the might of the powerful is overturned by the fear of the Lord! Walking with God is to understand, without doubt or equivocation that justice is what Yahweh requires. Queen Akaiha Loves you ~ Ashe Selah

Would you be so kind and Re-POST this out.. thx GG

There is operative throughout all time and space and with regard to all reality of whatever nature an inexorable and impersonal law which is equivalent to the function of a cosmic providence. Mercy characterizes God's attitude of love for the individual; impartiality motivates God's attitude toward the total. The will of God does not necessarily prevail in the part—the heart of any one personality—but his will does actually rule the whole, the universe of universes.(The Urantia Book paper 12:7.1)

The providence of God consists in the interlocking activities of the celestial beings and the divine spirits who, in accordance with cosmic law, unceasingly labor for the honor of God and for the spiritual advancement of his universe children.

There is also an organic unity in the universes of time and space which seems to underlie the whole fabric of cosmic events.

    Always in Love

    in Books

This first episode features an introduction to the book Slicing Heaven: Takes, Poetry, and Recipes from the Slice of Heaven 24-Hour Pie Shop and Driving Range, and closes with an admitedly poetic recipe for lemonade pie:

    How to make Lemonade Pie

Take all your disappointments, sorrows, and grief
    Soak in tequila overnight
Wake up wanting something sweet and crunchy
    Find it
Mash it up for the crust with real butter
    And extra cinnamon
    Distill the liquid ingredients
Until you have something you can use
Fold in some whole organic eggs and heat ever so slowly
    In time it will thicken
    In time it will jell
    Pour into the crust
    And then, baby,
All you need to do is
    Chill

Grassroots talks with: Dr Margaret Aranda

    in Current Events

Dr. Margaret Aranda, is the second-born of seven Latina children. In 1985 she graduated California State University, Northridge, Cum Laude and went to Oral Roberts University Medical School. I graduated USC Medical School in 1990, completed Stanford Anesthesiology in 1995 and Stanford Critical Care in 1996.
She and her three year old daughter were in a tragic car accident in 2006, after a lady hit the gas instead of the brakes because her Chinese food was falling from the seat.                                                                                                       If it weren't for the car accident, I never would have had the time to write books. And I enjoy transferring her brain knowledge to paper, to contribute to society and medicine in her own way. Her biggest following is Face Book Caring Friends with Invisible Illnesses, and she received the 2011 Perseverance Award for her efforts, from the Invisible Disabilities Association.

    Why Mother’s Day is Wicked

    in Religion

All across the most powerful country in the world, men, women and children will give the most endearing honor to their Mothers on Mother’s Day.  Mothers may be honored with various festivities including: greeting cards, flowers, gifts, lavish meals, money and more.  Above all mothers will be honored with devoted attention.  And just as with most holidays, these practices take place without serious consideration as to why.  Why is Mother’s Day celebrated?  Why is Mother’s Day not mentioned in the Holy Scriptures?  Is Mother’s Day a new holiday or is it rooted in ancient practices?

The Exquisite Comology of The Urantia Book Depicted by Artist, Gary Tonge

    in Spirituality

This week the extraordinary artist, Gary Tonge, will join us to talk about his motivaton and inspiration in creating graphic depictions based on The Urantia Book. His drive to make these works as accurate as they are beautiful and inspirational has relied in part on our own resident scholar, Andre Radatus. Andre and Gary have worked together to present this episode.

Gary is serious about recreating the cosmic places described in The Urantia Book and will expound on the importance of a coherent way to use this revelation more deeply; in unity with true science, real spiritual insight, and true philosophical reasoning. Gary's depictions of the Local Universe and Grand Universe are being used all over the web, by Urantia students and many others.

Gary is a professional artist with over 25 years experience in a variety of roles, most recently as a conceptual artist and art director. He is also a published author and writer and is now working as a creative consultant.

Gary has been a student of the Urantia Book since 1997 and would consider himself “creatively cosmological” in his initial approach to the the book. “When I first got my hands on The Urantia Book I was immediately enthralled by the comprehensive nature of how it described the Universe. I'd previously been very interested in human cosmology, but had a niggling feeling that it fell short of cosmic truth and became embroiled in the art of intelligent guessing.”

He believes through earnest study; The Urantia Book is (among many other things) the revealed truth lens for making sense of the unexplainable observations we see in the cosmos as well as the qualification of the history of our world.
