Tammy Mastroberte - "Elevated Existence"

This month, Suzane welcomes special guest, Tammy Mastroberte.

Tammy is the founder of Elevated Existence, the publisher and editorial director of Elevated Existence Magazine, and an multi-award-winning writer. She embarked on her own spiritual journey after the sudden death of her mother three days after Christmas in 1999. She began to uncover the purpose and synchronicity behind many events in her life, including her mother’s death, and realized life doesn’t end when the human body dies. She now shares her passion for spiritual and self-improvement teachings in the pages of Elevated Existence Magazine, and through her online Editor’s Advice column, with the hope of making a difference one reader at a time.

Growing up in an Italian Catholic family, Tammy always had a belief in a higher power. But at the age of 22, the sudden death of her mother three days after Christmas sent her on a quest to discover more. She wanted answers to life’s big questions: Why did it happen? What is the meaning of it all? What happens after we die?

After eight years of searching, she began to uncover the purpose and synchronicity behind many of the events in her life, including the death of her mother, and decided to use her talent for writing and her years of experience in the magazine publishing industry to be of service to others. She created Elevated Existence Magazine in 2008 to provide the latest spiritual and self-improvement topics and teachings, as well as actionable advice, tools and inspiration to others also seeking answers.

Since launching, the magazine has won several awards for its high-quality content and design, including three Folio: Awards for Best Single Article in the Spiritual/Religious Consumer Magazine category, all written by Mastroberte; a Clarion Award for Best Online Magazine, and a Certificate of Excellence in Design by the Art Director’s Club of New Jersey.
