As former Division 1 student-athlete and women's basketball coach, collegiate athletics director, scholar and associate provost, Dr. Robin Martin’s experience and leadership competencies offer a competitive advantage to any organization. An experienced lecturer and facilitator, she has co-directed and designed executive leadership programs; presented at multiple conferences, such as the NCAA, the University of Council for Educational Administration (UCEA), the Women’s Institute for Leadership Development (HERC-WIN), the National Intramural, Recreation and Sports Association; as well as numerous diversity, research and teaching symposiums.

A highly regarded university administrator, Dr. Martin has worked alongside faculty, deans and university presidents to solve tough challenges in the areas of student recruitment and retention, faculty development, building women’s leadership and creating inclusive work environments and teams.

A strategic collaborator and team builder, Dr. Martin's accomplishments in increasing minority and women STEM tenured-track faculty have been featured in the Journal of Blacks in Higher Education; and her as a Senior Women Administrator has been noted in USA Today. She also received the inaugural 2005 Katrina Service Award from the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) for exceptional leadership during Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.
