"Elevated Minds"

 The release of Beyonce's new song and video called "Formation"went viral almost immediately. However it was her  super bowl performance that had the entire nation as well as parts of the world talking. Her tribute to the 50th anniversary of of the formation of the Black Panther Party was recieved with mixed reviews.It sparked debate on the significance of the Black panthers and their contribution to the black community. Some say they were a vigilante group of rebels out for blood, others asert that they were a group of revolutionaries who were tired of being opressed by a a unjust government, and being mistreated,and violated by the very people who were put in place to protect them.
