Many if us have been abused before, or have witnessed abuse at the hands of predators. Sometimes it was perpetrated against us, and sometimes we had to watch someone else be abused, in fear that we would be hurt too. How many children have had to watch their dads, or mom's boyfriend hurt them. It's like being abused yourself.
