Naomi Inman holds a Master of Arts in Journalism and Public Policy from Regent University (Virginia Beach, VA). She is a life coach, professional writer and journalist with more than 25 years of media experience in radio, magazine, nonprofit and corporate communications and PR. She recently transitioned to full time ICF certified life coaching and is active in lay ministry at Portland Christian Center. Naomi has been married to Greg for 30 years and has two sons in college.
Naomi enjoys living out her faith through her work as a communications consultant, coach, 4word Mentor, prayer leader, and Bible teacher at Portland Christian Center.
Her vision for mentoring grows out of a heart to see every woman find her voice and find clarity to live out her good, true and beautiful God-designed purpose. She joined the Portland OR chapter of 4Word Women in the Fall of 2015 and recently mentored Judy from Astoria, Oregon, this Fall.
My thoughts on mentoring:
I believe mentoring is close to God’s heart, a coupling of two journeys for a season, where two women can both find their voice, gain fresh awareness, and learn to be curious about others in new ways.
Questions for Naomi:
What has mentoring taught you?
What do you mean by helping women “find their voice”?
How can Mentors “spur on” their mentees?
Why do you like using the “Coach Approach” to mentoring?
What Bible passages encourage you in mentoring others?
