Christa’s career at JCI began over 18 years ago and has expanded into business &
executive coaching for Johnson Controls. She is a coach to JCI’s internal teams as
well as external JCI channel partners in the areas of business and professional
leadership.
Christa is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma with a BA in Organizational
Leadership. Before her long-standing career with JCI, she worked for AT&T and
helped launch a successful small business with her husband while raising her family.
Christa spent many years consulting & coaching teams & small businesses. She is
currently the lead business instructor & coach for JCI’s Ducted Systems Academy.
Many of her workshops center on leadership & professional development, including
mentorship & coaching.
Her heart is to help teams and leaders at all levels develop better communication
and higher levels of emotional intelligence to lead with the foundation of trust.
Christa has been the keynote speaker and workshop leader for small business &
industry events. Her certifications include Franklin Covey Leadership, DDI Global
Leadership, MillerHeiman/Korn Ferry International.
Christa is a local chapter leader for 4WordWomen.org, OKC, and has participated in
4Words mentorship program. Additionally, she conducts workshops for single
women & mothers to help them develop professionally to enhance their careers &
improve their financial position to have a better quality of life.

Today's topic:  building trust through vulnerability and transparency/empathic communication/ using those two elements to coach and lead teams into the new future.
