As I as preparing for this session - I remember what Barbara McCaffrey shared at the Church in the TV Studio on Sunday that God didn't spare any details in creating this universe, humans or everything we now enjoy.  He is a God that has a plan, purpose and every detail to the minute DNA that runs through our bodies was created by Him. As you stand on the hillside looking over the beautiful valleys, lakes, oceans, it is impossible to think there was no intelligent force behind all of this.  God makes beautiful.  Mankind makes ugly. It's really time for us to realize that it is no joke.  The sleeping giant is beginning to wake up.  Although there are very tough times, times of judgment there is always a remedy.   Tonight again, the year of the Shimetah began in September 2014 and ends next year in September 2015. Thanatos was a Greek little entity in mythology that personified death.  Thanatology then is the study of death. While I don't want to get into the dying process I would like to chat about what I think happens after death.  Being in a field where we have encountered death and dear death experiences of many souls, I am convinced that there is no real death. The only thing that dies is the body.  The Soul and Spirit remains.  John 5:24 says, "He that hears my word  and believes on Him that sent me, has everlasting life and shall not come into condemnaton; but is passed from death unto life." Romans 8:2 "For the Law of the Spirit of LIfe in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death." Is there someone in the Bible that never died? Yes Enoch.  Heb. 11:5 "By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him; for before his translation, he had this testimony, that he pleased God." Will we have this testimony as well?  Will we be able to be translated as Enoch was?  Nothing is impossible with God. Col. 1:13 "Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness and has translated us into the kingdom of his DEAR SON." There are four places that I found caught up in the New Testament, " II Cor. 12:2, II Cor. 12:4, Rev. 12:5 I thess. 4:17, "Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall we ever be with the Lord." You know in other lands, the people do believe in demons, witches, and devils.  They believe in evil and evil doers. When I got married, my husband did not believe in ghosts.  If fact he use to laugh at our stories, that is until two weeks after we got married then something happened that made him a believer.  We shouldn't be surprised, but as Believers in JesusChrist, we shouldn't have to be scared as well.  Apostle Paul tells warns us in I Cor. 10:20-21, "But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils and not to God; and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.  You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of devils; ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table and of the devils."   When we decide during the Halloween season, Paul goes on to tell us in verse 23, "All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient; all things are lawful for me; but all things edify not."    Let us think about the kinds of parties we attend, or the type of costumes we choose for our children.  Verse 32, "Give none offence neither to the Jews nor to the Gentiles nor to the church of God." Which side is God's side?  This question would have been elementary 100 years ago.  Everyone had a good idea of right and wrong.  It was right to believe in God.  It was right to go to church.  It was right not to cuss and swear.  It was right to honor our parents.  It was right not to steal.  It was right not to commit murder.  It was right not to Lie.  It was not right to covet someone else's property.  It was not right to commit adultery.   Today, we wonder what happened to what's right?  What changed society's opinion of right and wrong? If you go to Asia, right and wrong, honor and dishonor are still a huge part of their society.  This is why I like to watch Korean Dramas.  They are still producing dramas that exemplify morality, right and wrong in families and in the society. It doesn't matter to them, because their permanent residence may be in Switzerland, France or Italy rather in America. The blessings on our nation were as a result of god-fearing men and women who made common sense laws that protected the innocent, protected our children from evil, and protected our citizens with the Bill of Rights. Today, the innocent are aborted.  Our children can buy drugs in schools and our citizen's rights are being eroded. Yes, we can just complain.  But November 2014, we can also do something!  We must elect men and women to office regardless of parties, based on their moral belief in our constitution, bill of rights and biblical and moral values. If we do not, our nation will continue to be drained by laws that protect big corporate businesses.  Notice that the bail outs went to the corporations.  The homeowners got evicted from their homes.  The bail out of the corporations and securities and banks could have saved 100% of the foreclosures in America by forgiving their debt and reinstituting a new mortgage policy that would give everyone A SECOND CHANCE. But that did not happen and thousands of good people LOST their homes and their retirement incomes. However, the spiritual consequences are very real in a sense of possession, afterlife, good and evil. The story involves a power struggle of a Shaman named Sadam.  Very interesting that they would choose that name. Sadam in arabic is "one who confronts" or a "powerful collider."   There are so many interesting parallels such as the powerful god the Shaman Sadam is trying to reinvigorate is a dragon that wants to go back to heaven. There are other scenes where good people suddenly turn vicious when an evil spirit enters their body. Finally there are scenes of ghosts walking around good and evil plus a place where good people go when they die. So far it has not shown a place where evil people go however, it is assumed that in the end evil will lose and good will win. We can draw a modern parallel to this story that people today are going to be divided into two camps.  Good people and Not good people.  People who sincerely care about their fellow human being.  And the others who simply care about themselves. One nice thing that we encountered in our recent visit to Seoul, was that there are so many good people in this nation who demand that the shows that Korean Media and Movie makers produce are moral in it's foundation.  When things get too out of hand, the people make a noise, comments and reviews and things do change. And it looked pretty dismal.  Money was just flowing out and the studio wasn't ready.  In the natural it looked like we should give up and right now as I am broadcasting to you, our studio has yet to receive its first paying customer. That phone call changed his life and he spent the next 20 years traveling the nation with a well known evangelist and setting up crusades and meetings for him. Just recently I heard another great testimony from Sean Lowe of the Bachelor TV Show.  As you know he was devastated when he was sent home from the  season of the Bachelorette after the home town dates.  He fell in love only to be blindsided and sent home without a rose. Then he said six months later the phone rang.  That phone call changed his life and he met the love of his life, Catherine. It's time we don't let obstacles get in the way of our destiny or journey.  Discouragement is not an option. This is the day America changed. As a baby boomer, we had parents who sacrificed and worked hard to get us through college, to get us started on the pathway to life.  We went from ink wells to ball point pens.  We went from manual typewriters to electric typewriters. When we had our families, the X generation, we gave them everything we didn't have including a lack of work ethic.  They learned to spend money using credit cards, have fun, drink and do drugs.  All was rosey dosey until 9-11 That's when we started to wake up from la-la land, a land of milk and honey.  We saw first hand how the world sees us as the rich and spoiled Americans and we realized there were people out there that don't like us.  Then in 2009 when the housing market crashed, many, thousands lost their homes to foreclosure, almost having to start over again like in the 1970's.
