Special guest Derek Thompson Co-Founder and Executive Director of HANDS OF FAVOR, a non-profit ministry designed to restore some dignity and self-esteem to in-need children (and families) through free hair cuts and grooming.

Former hairstylist and cosmetology instructor, recently retired. In the past he has been a youth mentor and foster parent. He is married, a father of two, grandfather and a great grandfather.

He is passionate about the hair industry and never want to leave it completely. His two most prominent dislikes about our industry are the selfishness of our collegues and the lack of an understanding of how important customer service is.
