The forgotten man Captain Kiatou Vaj. During the war in Laos, Captain Kiatou Vaj led thousands of Hmong fighters to fight in the Sam Neau Province against the enemy and to protect the Radar Controller at Lima Site 85 one of the most crucial site during the bombing North Vietman 1962 -1968 in the Northern Laos. He was KIA while searching for enemy not too far from Lima Site 85. Today, I travel to many places I don't hear Hmong veterans and community leahers talk about him. Captain Kiatou was on most influential and well respect by thousands of his followers in the Sam Neau Province during the war, and I many of would agree with me. Tonight I will talk be him because I think we have forgot him and his service.
