i am #UnapologeticallyJosh and THIS is #TheUprising. We are on Episode 18: Education and this is the 3rd part of this discussion.

My guests this week are Ernest Daily (Petty Rebel), Brandon Gregory (actor, Thoughts of a Colored Man), and Dr. Lura Lukenheimer (Peaceful Schools).

This ongoing conversation about Education is one of the most difficult, yet important ones to be having.
----------------------------------------------------------
Ernest Daily attended East Carolina University as an undergraduate in Apparel Merchandising and graduate student in Multicultural Literature. Upon graduation, Ernest worked at the institution in the offices of Undergraduate Admission, Orientation, Student Activities, and the Ledonia Wright Cultural Center. Most recently he was honored as member of the ECU Class of 2016 40 Under 40 in Education and Research.
Ernest Daily currently serves as the Assistant Director for the Collegiate Science & Technology Entry Program (CSTEP) and is a graduate student in the Department of Cultural Foundations of Education in the School of Education with research areas focused on Freedom and Liberation in Black and Brown communities and Black Mourning in the Age of Social Media.
Over his 15 years in higher education, Ernest has supported many pro-student causes that have established him as a consistent resource for scholars and social justice. His no-nonsense leadership style encourages scholars to push beyond limitations, be unapologetic in all their identities, and to love themselves and others along the way to truly accomplish their goals.
