Howard Cohen from FISP comes to Stonewall Live! Thursday, May 16 9PM EST.

The Florida Initiative for Suicide Prevention provides educational programs for the general public as well as Police, EMS, Teachers, Professional Counselors and Community Organizations.

On May 23 and 30 they are hosting the FISP Art of the Community Expressions of Hope Project. Expressly geared to the LGBTQA community this workshop will engage participants to create a multi-media theatrical production that will be used to educate and engage the community.

Howard Cohen, a registered mental health counselor is one of the facilitators for the Art of the Community Expressions of Hope Project. He will be on my show to talk about the event as well as what is being done in the tri-county area in suicide prevention.
